We hired Kari to do a feature wall in our master bedroom. My husband and I settled on a wood-look for the wall our bed is against, and knew there was only one person we trusted to do it. Kari had come to our rescue in the Fall of 2016 when our previous contractor built us a deck that didn't meet any codes and the whole thing had to come down. We were so elated with what Kari did for our deck, so we asked him if this was something he would be able to do for us, and he immediately booked a consultation to come out and give us advice.
Kari provided us with many options and ideas regarding the actual material (ie: using tongue and groove pine which we would then stain, or laminate flooring which is what we ended up going with), what to do for trim, where to go to get the best priced material, and so forth. Once we found the material we wanted to use, we let him know, and he actually took care of purchasing it (we reimbursed him for that) and delivering it to our home. He showed up on time the days of the install, and spent time making sure things were level (especially for a project like this) so that we would end up with the best outcome possible.
Yet again, Kari went above and beyond what we expected. He worked well into the evenings making sure everything was perfect- from the actual install of the planks on the wall, to ensuring the trim was perfect, making sure the new baseboard was the exact match to the existing one and so forth. He even vaccumed our bedroom when he was finished!
Our wall looks amazing. Everyone we show it to can't stop complimenting on not only how good it looks, but how well it was installed.
Kari is one of those contractors that once you find, you don't want to let go of. We plan on hiring him for numerous projects into the future, and we're happy knowing we can depend on him to transform our home into what we envision.
