My wife and I went to this company because we needed a custom kitchen, which JF Kitchens provides. Their motto is basically "any colour, any size". Unfortunately we experienced a long list of problems -- the main problem stemmed from the fact that they did not finish all the cabinets before delivery, and so when they stained the other pieces at a later time, they did not mix the stain the same and so we ended up with mismatched cabinets and trim. A very Mickey Mouse mistake. Many times they said they would come back to fix this problem and others, but rarely managed to show up as promised.
We knew the day the cabinets were delivered that there were going to be problems. We could see that there were missing pieces and that the drawer frames were not made of solid Maple as ordered (as indicated on the invoice) -- they were made out of plywood.
A bad experience so far, I will update when (if) our kitchen finally gets done.
Update:
They finally delivered our drawers, they are not a "perfect" match but are close. They said they would comeback to fix the mismatched colour of some crown molding, but have never returned. We have given up calling, we can live with the remaining imperfections.
The quality of the cabinets is decent for the price (solid maple), although the self closing drawer hardware is marginal (friends have craftmade self close cabinets -- they are waaaay better). The main carpenter was decent enough, but seemed run ragged, which we believe is why things took so long. If you need a custom, solid wood kitchen on a tight budget you could take a chance -- but expect some aggrivation.
