Called Drainworks and they came over on time and quoted the work quickly and clearly. Work was completed on the spot. Plumber was polite and cleaned up after himself. Overall, very pleased.

We hired Martin Wade Landscape Architects to design the back yard of our house in Toronto. We were very pleased with the result and would definitely recommend them to others looking for a landscape architect. What we especially appreciated was their attention to detail and their presence/help throughout the whole construction process too.

My husband and I had been looking everywhere for a table that would fit in our very long and narrow dining space - we needed a table about 30 inches wide. We wanted something that looked like a harvest table and was trestle, with a bench on one side so people could easily slide in and out. We realized we wouldn't find anything off the shelf and so started looking for custom. We were getting quotes of 2000-3000 just for the table (without a bench), and then found Alf's Antiques on King St. We looked around their showroom and they had beautiful samples all within our price range. The table we eventually chose was all custom measurements, style, etc. We ordered from Alf's wife who works in the store, put down our deposit and got our beautiful table within the time they said. The wood used for the table top is reclaimed floorboards from an old general store. It's got loads of character. We've just purchased some ultra modern Italian clear acrylic and chrome chairs to go with it (from a different store) - they haven't arrived yet but we think the old look of the table and bench with the modern chairs is going to look fantastic. The chairs in the picture are old ones we are using until the new ones arrive, and ignore the lack of decorating...it's a slow process! We are very, very pleased with the table and with Alf's service.

We moved from an apartment to our new house in spring 2009. My sister had recommended Bumblebee - she had used them to move from Ottawa to Toronto and then again within Toronto. The guys were all really friendly, quite careful, good at packing the truck, and good on their estimate. They were actually a lot cheaper than a lot of other moving companies too. We were really worried about hiring movers because we'd always done it on our own before, and having heard horror stories about movers from friends etc. We're glad to have found Bumblebee because, if we ever need to move again, we know who to call. We had Rob place drywall over our old ceiling in the master bedroom, which previous owners had covered with wallpaper which would not come off; the ceiling was also uneven with some cracks in the plaster. Our solution, rather than tearing down the whole ceiling and replacing it, was to put a layer of drywall over the existing ceiling. Rob came over and checked it out, got back to us very quickly with a quote, finished the job quickly, found times that were convenient for us, and did the job very well. We were very pleased and would recommend Rob.
