To anyone who is considering having there roof re-tiled. We found Turnbull a very professional company who gave us a fair price for their labour and workmanship. Both the roofers and the owner were great. While doing the roof the head man or supervisor, I’m not sure what he is called, kept us up to date on how things were progressing, and with any problems they were having. The workers were respectful and diligent, plus they all worked very hard and with precision. When we first contacted Turnbull, at the suggestion of a friend who had used them, the owner came over and gave us an honest quote something at least one other company did not. The other company said we had wood showing, he said we did not; they said that we had to do it immediately; he said we had a year or two left on the current shingles. It was an easy choice! There were two problems though, but not with Turnbull, their supplier brought the wrong colour shingles and I was told strait away, and that it would hold them up only for a half hour or so more that it would have otherwise. The roofers continued to work as they took off the old shingles and we would be surprised if it did take them anymore time as they all were working so hard. The last problem was again caused by the supplier. The truck driver for the supplier gouged two cuts into our driveway and when I told the owner he took pictures and said he would see what he could do. He himself was obviously angry, and in truth I don’t know what he can do about it but I’m sure at least he will see to it that the drive is not delivering to his company ever again.
