We had been shopping for quite a while to find a leather sofa we liked. We wanted a 'Natuzzi' brand. We visited the Sears store at the Eaton Centre. The sales people were very kind - not pushy. They will tell you when the sofa goes on sale. You can pick the style, colour and grade of leather. They sofa takes a couple of weeks. Ours came before schedule and was exactly what we had ordered. The prices are comparable to what other retailers sell Natuzzi at. I like Sears and the reputation it has.

If you are looking for someone to open, close and maintain your pool, the Waterboy does a great job. We inherited a pool with our home and Doug does an excellent job at keeping it going for us. We do the daily stuff, but he is always around if something doesn't look right. He will maintain it for you through the year. He also gives you a heads up if there is a problem which could arise, like replacing filters and heaters. Doug does all the work himself, with the help of his sons, from time to time. His rates are very reasonable and also will pick up whatever pieces are required to maintain the equipment and always charges you his purchase price. Very honest and funny guy.

We have experienced problems with our garage doors - the cable breaking, motor not functioning, etc. Burrell is an excellent company to deal with. The repair men we get always give us hints on how to keep the doors in good condition. The price is always reasonable and they usually come the following day.

If you are looking for carpeting you should visit Imperial Carpet. They have a large selection of rugs and other flooring options. The staff is very knowledgeable. They take the time and show you a variety of options in your price range. We had a problem when our rug arrived. It had a bit of an odour to it. They quickly sent a rug restorer/cleaner. He took the carpet and aired it and cleaned it. The odour disappeared.

If you are looking for outdoor furniture, look no longer, Hauser is the store to visit. Their quality is impecable. Their prices may be a little higher than most, but you cannot beat the quality and warranty you receive. We bought our outdoor furniture from them and recommended Hauser to many friends, who also purchased chairs, tables, umbrellas from them. When we originally went to order our furniture, they were re-surfacing some tables for people who had purchased from them 20 years ago. You cannot beat the workmanship and quality. We leave our table and chairs out all year. Also, when we originally purchased our umbrellas a little piece was missing. They quickly delivered it to our home, personally. We are now looking at buying a leather sofa and chair. Friends of ours went across the border to look and said they bought from Hauser. We visited their store the other day, and they let us bring a chair and sample leather colours home with us to see how we liked the look and what colours suited us best.Their prices for leather are very good. Great service.

If you are looking for antiques, furniture odds and ends, collectibles this is a great place to browse. It is bright, airy, comfortable for walking through. Things get less expensive the longer they are there. The prices are great. This is an ideal place if you are trying to get rid of something you no longer have use of.I have bought a few pieces and I have been very pleased with the prices and service. Definitely worth a trip. Very easy to get to. Right off the highway on the west side of Yorkdale.

If you are looking for a unique piece of furniture this is the place to go to. They will manufacture anything for you. I had an entertainment unit made. I brought in a drawer of a piece of furniture I already owned and they stained it the exact same colour. The quality is impecable. Prices are good. Definitely not cheap, but you do get what you pay for. What you end up with is a timeless piece of furniture that will stay with your family for a long time.

If you are looking to have your roof re-shingled these are they people to call. They are close to half price of mosts roofing companies. They are polite, pleasant, and they do an excellent job. Sometimes it takes a couple days for 'Grilo' to call back, but he is worth the wait.
