An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.
After thoroughly researching and contacting numerous home inspectors in the Ottawa area, my spouse and I decided to ask Paul Wilson at Home Inspectors to inspect a property we were looking at buying. Beginning with an initial consultation where Paul gathered information on the house in preparation for the visit, through the detailed and thorough step-by-step inspection, to the clear and concise report that was provided at the conclusion, it was clear that we had chosen to work with a competent and caring professional. While we decided not to buy the house, due in large part to issues uncovered by the inspection, the experience of walking through the 'guts' of a house with an expert was invaluable to a couple of first-time buyers. We fully plan on contacting Paul Wilson again in the future. Andrew S.
