Excellent and trustworthy service. Sam is reliable, prompt, knowledgeable, professional, courteous and honest. I will contact him again for future appliance repairs. My five year old GE dishwasher was leaking underneath the machine. The leak appeared to come from a brass elbow fitting that was easy to access. I decided to try repairing the leak myself. I removed, resealed, reinstalled, and tightened the brass elbow. The dishwasher still leaked after my attempt so I shut off the water supply to the dishwasher. I called Sam and he arrived within the time he said he would. He opened the water supply and ran the machine but the machine did not leak. He made several attempts to get the leak to appear. Still there was no leak. Sam told me that the symptom I described could have been due to a problem with the fitting or possibly a defective water intake valve and he had a replacement part with him. Instead of replacing the intake valve he recommended that I monitor the area for a few days as it was possible that I did fix the problem by servicing the fitting. This would save me 66% of the cost of the repair as he would only charge me the cost of the diagnostic visit. Sam assured me that if the machine still leaked within the next 30 days he would return to repair the problem and apply the cost of this visit to the total cost of the repair. He would make two visits for the price of one as he does not replace parts unnecessarily. As it turned out, the leak did re-appear within a couple of days and Sam returned promptly after I called, as he had promised. He charged me the same amount for both visits as for a single visit to repair that problem. I was very grateful for his honesty and trustworthiness in addition to being highly satisfied with his knowledge and skill in diagnosing and fixing the problem.

Prior to contacting the highly recommended Mr. Plumber to install a Backflow Water Valve, I contacted the City of Toronto Water division to find out what was the range of prices that the City received on applications for a subsidy for this type of work. Vlodio arrived promptly, gave me an estimate, explained exactly what the work would involve, how long it would take, and when it could be started. The price he quoted was very reasonable compared to others. After I signed a contract with Mr. Plumber and everything after that proceeded smoothly. Vlodio arranged for the permit, confirmed the time and date of installation, and arranged for the inspection by the City. The installation was done by Sasha. Prior to Sasha’s arrival I created a plastic barrier between the work area and the rest of the basement because I was concerned about dust that I expected from the drilling into the concrete floor. To my surprise, there was minimal dust because of the procedure he used to drill into the concrete. There was no need for me to create the plastic barrier. Vlodio had pre-arranged for the inspector and Sasha to arrive two days after the installation. Sasha and the inspector arrived on time and the inspector examined and approved the installation. Sasha then covered the hole with new cement and carefully smoothed it out into a professional finish. The work area was completely clean and free of dust after Sasha finished the job. I was completely satisfied with the quality of the work, promptness, courteousness, and price of the services provided by Mr. Plumber and will definitely call them again for my plumbing needs.
