We noticed that there was water leaking in the basement and a friend of ours had highly recommended Lindsay Contracting to us and we have no regrets. Damian came to check out what could be the cause of the water coming into the basement and swiftly he realized that the leak was coming from the water meter. In great detail he explained what would need to be done and coordinated with the city as the water needed to be shut off for the repair to commence. The work completed and the overall expirence exceeded my expectations and would highly recommend Lindsay Contracting.

I inquired about moving.... the movers need to come to the back as the houses are too close together. My door opens in the back onto a big lawn.... I told the company twice. No need to go between the houses. It took the guys half an hour to figure out that they need to come to the back when they arrived. They quoted me two and a half hours to move a 500 sq ft apartment... and it's been three hours, they just finished packing. they were so slow that I ended up moving 50 items myself onto the lawn for them they are two strong men! Not happy at all. The lady from the company argued about the small space, but they never ever needed to move anything through it, as they parked in the back and there was a lot of space. :(

We do thank you for being our customer and appreciate your business. We would like to provide some clarification regarding your review. First of all, we apologize for the mishap with the parking at your pick-up location. It longer to re-park the truck because the driveway that led to the back of your house was very narrow compared to the width of the truck so that they had to pull very slowly. Loading was then delayed by your landlord removing the washer/dryer and the doors from the main entrance to the basement so that the movers could take out the furniture. Loading took 2 hr 13min. Driving to the drop off took 24 min. At your new building, the movers had to walk roughly 60 meters from the truck to the elevator which was very small and thus impacted the unloading time. Long walk and small elevators always affect the overall moving time. Unloading took 3 hr 15 min. Movers did not take breaks. We discounted the customer with HALF hour for labour.
