Our house has both flat and shingled sections, and we were looking to have the flat section replaced. Our home inspector's estimate for this work was $3,000. All of the quotes we got from the big companies on this site were for $6,000 or more; and those were the ones who bothered to return our calls or show up for appointments. I saw an Oxxo sign in the neighborhood and called for an estimate, which was performed the next day. The quote for the entire roof (flat and shingles) was $4,300, way less than the bigger companies wanted for just the flat, and the cheapest of all the licensed people we had quote for us. We went ahead with the work, which Oxxo completed over two days last week. They were friendly and quick, and cleaned up the driveway and yard to leave it just as they had found it. The roof looks great and we saved a bundle, with no hidden costs or unexpected add-ons.

We were putting our house on a water meter to avoid paying bulk rates for water. The city normally does this but wouldn't install ours because of the lead pipes serving our house. I called Mr. Rooter at 3:30 in the afternoon about getting a quote, and they said someone could meet me at home that day at 4:30. Sasha was right on time and gave me a written quote for the work.
