We contacted Guns N Hoses based on the many great reviews on here in addition our attic was needing extra insulation, plus the government rebate was another great perk. Neil came out to have a look at the attic space and ventilation duct work. Our two bathroom fans were very loud (originals with the house, 2002) and in particular one would drip during the very cold winter months due to condensation. Neil gave us the best advice to purchase a set of bathroom fans from Costco as a similar product would cost much more at a hardware store for the same features, they are bigger in size and much quieter, plus they have a built in sensor for moisture. Our initial appointment date had to be rescheduled due to unfortunate circumstances where Neil was unable to attend, but the communication was great and a new date was scheduled a to take place few weeks later. Upon arriving on the day of the appointment Neil showed up on time, completed the job on budget, in a timely fashion and cleaned up any mess that may have been left behind. Neil is very professional and personable.

Back when we got hit with our first blast of winter, one piece of our vinyl siding decided to come loose on our two storey house below the soffit. After making a few calls around for quotes to determine the cost of the repair, Gutter Doctor came out on top with a very reasonable cost compared to many other competitors. The process from requesting a repair technician to come out, to having the repair inspected and to the final installation was seamless. Once our repair guy Kef reached out we were able to get the new vinyl piece matched to near 95% of what our current siding looks like. Kef completed this job entirely himself with only one ladder, very professional, friendly and an individual that shows pride in his work.

Our experience with AmeriSpec Calgary S and our inspector Barry Larence was great especially with this being our first home inspection. He took the time to answer any questions or concerns that we had and was very thorough with details outside and inside the home, even if they were minimal and something that could arise in the future. The report was printed onsite upon completion and Barry took the time to go through the report and explain the findings, in addition to a great package such as: Seasonal Maintenance Checklist, a Home Maintenance Manual (which is great if you're a DIY person) and a Home Owner Rewards Program.
