New home owner here and wanted to swap out the old plugs and switches around the apartment with new ones (because, really, once you paint over the mustard yellow walls, you gotta get the yellow switches/plates/plugs out of there!) So I embark on a journey with a multitester, toolbelt, and youtube videos loaded on the ipad. Halfway through the kitchen, the breaker sparks and refuses to turn back on just 3 days before Thanksgiving... images of cooking by candlelight and faces of h-angry family and friends surfaced... panic ensues. In comes Neil: Professional, grounded (pun intended), here to save the day Neil. Not only was he reassuring that I didn't 'mess it up beyond hope', he was able to come in to fix the problem within two days. He diagnosed the issue in just a few minutes and showed me where I stumbled. It sounds odd but I actually had a great time learning the 101 of electrical wiring from Neil and he was genuinely interested in helping me learn. He encouraged me to go on and complete the rest of the apartment! One week later, Neil contacted me to see how everything was working out and when I had a question about the timer I wanted to install for the exhaust fan, he didn't hesitate in giving me pointers over text! Solid, grade A guy - so happy I found him and I would recommend him to anyone who needs an electrician.
