Just moved into a new house. Looking to get the roof done. I had a smaller area on my house around windows that had unmaintained wood siding that was starting to rot out. My goal: to get the wood siding removed/replaced with vertical vinyl siding before the roof was reshingled. I had several quotes from companies on home stars. Some prices were outrageous without even going up to look at the siding. Home Doctor came by, explained many options, provided a few quotes for different options for me with no pressure to make a decision. I chose them because I felt like they were reliable and actually took the time to investigate and gave me options.. Not to mention the price seemed the most reasonable. Giving them a short timeline, they managed to fit me and get the job done quickly. About a year later one of the pieces of siding had shifted a bit on the corner of the window and warped a little bit. I sent them a picture of this and they immediately said they would fix it. A couple days later it was fixed and the problem resolved at no cost - labor and parts. After researching a bit I see this can sometimes happen after the siding expands a bit and is custom cut around windows or other objects. Great work and would recommend them.

At my previous house I had issue after issue after having my house reshingled with a random company I chose. I ended up going through 3 other roofing companies in the area to repair where the first company messed up. At my new house in Whitby (moving in, knowing it needed new shingles soon) having Cutting Edge reshingle it has been problem free for almost 2 years and I have confidence it will continue to be problem free. After the disaster at my previous house, I decided to wait a while before writing a review to see how it holds out over winter. At first contact he went on the roof and took pictures and explained all the problem points and how he would handle them. He also told me I could easily wait a year or two before doing the work (but I wanted to get it done now anyways). No one else did this. His pricing came in about the middle of the all the quotes I requested from other companies which I felt comfortable with. He presented options in shingles, explained his goal is always having employees he trusts that stay long term, explained warranty and labor coverage, how they will do full cleanup of garbage and nails, and tarping off areas that need extra protection during work (like my A/C and neighbors A/C). When I asked about ice guard and putting in 6' instead of 3' (which some of the companies that I spoke to wouldn't even do it) .. Robert said they already do it by default. It was near end of season and he didn't have a spot to book me before it was too late to do the roofing. So he came back, took a look again the roof and explained I would be fine waiting until next year and he would book me as soon as they start in the spring. I would (and have to several neighbors already) recommend Cutting Edge to do any work on their roof.

I needed a new garage door, mine was old and rotted. I had several quotes, and Markham Garage doors was just under the others for price. That's not the only reason why they were chosen; Kevin provided information, answered all my questions and patiently wrote out two separate quote options that I requested (later on Friday night as well). After we chose them, a few weeks later we had Brandon come out with the new door. He removed and installed the new door in about an hour. He was very fast. Afterwards he went over the door and explained how it should be maintained to have a long life and answered my questions. Removed old parts and left the area clean. Good job guys.
