new lighting fixtures for entire home
This is the third time in 1.5 years that i've gone back to Neil of Nu-Phase to do lighting work. I first met and reviewed Neil in our previous two projects involving my condo (first time for upgrades, second time for repairs prior to selling). Both times I gave him amazing reviews and couldn't shut up about how great Neil was at service, customer care and his more than fair and balanced pricing. Now on to my third time hiring Neil to take care of my lighting needs: When i bought my new townhome and made plans for renos, I knew exactly who I should call to handle all the fixtures! I needed all the original ugly/cheap lighting ripped out, replaced with new ones i had chosen and dimmers added. For the third time in my life, Neil came to the rescue and then some! Luckily I called him ahead of time to prep him on the work i needed and not only did he give me some advice, he even told me some stores where I could find some really amazing fixtures! Oh but the service experience story gets better. Let me take this further back in time. Originally i called neil from Home Depot where I was trying to decide on a fixture for my living room and dining room and I txted him for his opinion. In minutes, Neil called me back and asked me where i was. I told him the home depot location and his response was, "oh, i'm not too far from there. Hang out there for a bit and I'll swing by and help you pick the best ones." This is more than just great service or going above and beyond. Neil genuinely cares about his customers and driving all the way to the store where I was so he could help me pick the right type of lighting is something NO electrician would ever do for me, you or anybody. Once there, Neil gave me his honest opinion and then told me of some other stores close by that provided even nicer lighting fixture designs at similar/competitive prices. I knew by now after having Neil do my lighting work for me in the past, that I should trust him so i took a look at the other stores he suggested and was so glad I did. I not only found better lighting, but they were well within my budget (which is why i went to home depot in the first place, looking for a pocket friendly deal). Neil knows exactly what you need, as long as you're clear on what your criteria are. He tore out all the old lights, put up my new ones, added dimmers, and best of all, he even helped to identify issues inside the walls that I should raise with Strata. Code violations!! Not because it affected his work (which it didn't, since he was able to mount the lights without having to deal with any code violation issues) but because he looked inside behind the walls and noticed it, and rather than turn a blind eye to it, he told me I better get it raised with strata pronto. I've told just about everybody I can to hire Neil for their lighting. I'm telling you all now. Do it. I'm obviously not the only one here who thinks he's great based on how many people are drawn to review him highly so you have to trust me and all of the others. We can't all be wrong about this guy. Neil's cell is now in my contact list on my phone because he's now my go-to guy for any lighting problems or issues. I never ever have to look around again for someone to trust or take a chance on. He's honest, provides a level of service way above the amount he charges you and he clearly is passionate about his job which makes him great at it. Now i need him to fix up the kitchen fixtures at my parent's condo. I have no doubt I'll be posting a 4th review about Neil in the near future!
