Local move on December 16, 2009 - Major wall and furnature damage. On December 21 Austin told me it would be repaired on December 28. I even confirmed the date as many compainies were using Dec 28 as the boxing day stat. Austin assured me that either the man would be at my house or cat the very least all me on December 28 to make arrangements to make the repairs. Waited home all day for a repairman or call that did not come. The call came on Tuesday, January 21 from the repair person Ken. This is one month after my initial conversation with Austin and TWENTY-THREE DAYS from the date the work was to be done. On the day of the move mud was tracked through out our old home as well as the brand new (just built) home we were moving into. I asked about removing their shoes and was told they could not. I asked for extra floor matts to be laid out and was told this would be done. The extra floor mats were the dirty ones from the old hours. The moving team commented on many of our items. One fellow did try taking his shoes off at the door and his co-workers told him to stop doing that. They played with my husbands expensive bicycle, almost dropped furnature off the back of the truck, and was visibaly annoyed at not being allowed to walk the patio furnature through the house to the back deck. In the end they were asked to leave things on the living room floor and my husband put them in the correct room. When I returned to the old home to clean it the hardwood in the living room was scratched and dented from the movers shrink wrapping the couch and chair. They have a wooded base and had difficulty holding it while wrapping it. Although Austin cannot control what his team does when outside of the office he can control what happens with follow up customer service. For this he gets an F! My husband has since repaired the damaged wall and furnature. You can imagine that showing a new house with holes in the walls is embarassing. Austin knows who we are and can call to make this right at any time.

- Company Response
It is pretty impressive that the customer has the right to lie on the internet about a company. Now I am not saying there was no damage as I admit Tracey had called me about 2 small holes in her drywall and also that her old dresser was coming apart on the seams where the staples are. Now Tracey also told me that because the holes were so small that her husband had tried to fix them and mentioned to me that although they were fixed no problem they still did not look professional. I informed her that I had no problem sending my repair guy "Ken" out to her home to see if he can redo her husbands work to make it look the way it should and also he would be pushing the staples back in for them on the dresser. I then told her Ken was on holidays for the christmas holidays and that i was not sure exactly when he would be back. Now if Tracey was that concerned about her supposed damage being fixed on the 28th I ask you why have I not heard anything until now? tracey has my phone number and could have called if she was upset with anything or figured we were supposed to show up on a certain day instead of supposedly sitting around all day waiting for us. And please dont try and blame us for your scratches on your floor, my movers have informed me that they are older scratches and were from you guys putting a couch with a wooden base on a hardwood floor, just not a smart idea if your going to do that put something soft under the wood to protect your hardwood while you are using your couch if you dont obviously you will get the normal scratches as a cause of it. I have since tried to contact tracey to discuss this with no response which hoestly does not surprise me I probably wil not hear from her again until I read another comment from her somewhere on the internet.
If you have any questions or concerns about this "complaint" please call me at 403 671 2234 and I would be more than happy to talk to you.
