Dwayne arrived on time & did a great job of replacing the bad mercury switch with a new gas valve.Everyone locally told me it could not be done , but gas fix did the conversion & it saved me the cost of buying a new fireplace . THANKS

Thank you, Hank, for your review. It is not everyday that we take a drive down to Chatham-Kent to repair a gas fireplace. Initially, it was our hope a local contractor could have done the Mercury Flame Switch conversion for you but as noted, it's something that a lot of contractors either won't do or don't know how to do. For a Security gas fireplace, our technicians know how to do the conversion and also carry the parts in the vehicle with them. We are quite happy that you did choose Gas Fix to convert the Mercury Flame Switch to a new operating system which included the gas valve and pilot assembly.
