I have a 100 year old semi detached house in Toronto and the roof looked to be in really bad shape. I was worried we would not be able to get it done before winter set in and also that perhaps it was too small a job for any good roofers to be interested. Fortunately Robert from Cutting Edge Roofing came to give a quote within a couple of days of me contacting them. We agreed on a price and approximate date for installation. Cutting Edge kept in constant contact with me, informing me, based on the weather, when the roof would be done. Within a few weeks I had a beautiful new roof and am feeling very grateful for the quick and efficient service - we got it done just before the snow flew! Also, the workers cleaned up really nicely. I have a small downtown garden with a couple of trees that require very special care. Bruce tree has provided dormant oil spraying, deep root fertilization, pruning and excellent advice over the past many years and I would highly recommend them. They are professional, knowledgeable and a pleaseure to deal with.

Dimitri and Alex did a great job. They wired in two new closet lights and four new fixtures in my laundry room. All energy efficient fixtures with motion sensors. They also replaced 6 dimmer switches in my house with LED compatible ones so that I can now properly dim my LED bulbs. Thanks guys!

Faucet in the bathtub was dripping. Hoerner Plumbing sent someone out to look at it, assessed the problem, ordered the part, came back and installed it within a couple of days. It was a small nuisance of a job but Hoerner stayed on task, followed up to make sure the job was done properly and charged a reasonable rate. What more can you ask? Thank you Hoerner Plumbing!

Our 15 year old furnace was giving us a lot of trouble. Boris from Cozy World came to our house, explained in detail exactly what type of furnace we needed and took the time to answer all our questions. The installer, Kam, and his assistants were on time, polite and cleaned up after themselves. The new furnace is so quiet you can barely tell it is running and we love the iComfort s30 wifi thermostat which shows the weather and can be operated from my iPhone. All in all a very smooth and pleasant experience. Thank you Cozy World!

New washer arrived from Home Depot with the wrong hoses. Mike from Hoerner plumbing supplied the right hoses and installed the washer. He was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and persistent in the face of a few difficulties with the way the washer's legs were manufactured. A pleasure to have in my home and I would recommend him any day. Thanks!

A few years ago we had Scott McKinnon of Light Emitting Design install some LED lights in the front garden and exterior of the house. At the time it was a bit of a leap of faith as the technology was quite new. We have absolutely LOVED these lights! We have recently installed more lights on our new back deck. They cost almost nothing to run, turn themselves on and off and are totally hassle free. The quality of the light that is given off is so soft and there is no light pollution or spill-over into the neighbours' space.
