On April 24, 2014 we signed a contract with Garage Builders. On June 20, 2014 the concrete was poured. The concrete was not covered and the new concrete was damaged extensively by a hailstorm. Garage Builders did pour 2” of new concrete a week later in an attempt to repair the hail damage. However, we still have areas that are not level in our garage and an uneven sidewalk where ice forms creating a slipping hazard. We requested Garage Builders to replace the uneven sidewalk and they refused, saying it was simply a maintenance issue. We are diligent in keeping our sidewalks shovelled and de-iced but this area is constantly freezing up. Our experience with Garage Builders has been a frustrating one to say the least. The product we received, in particular the concrete work, is inferior. The workmanship is simply subpar and certainly not what we were led to believe we were getting. We have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Garage Builders has not provided a response thus far.

Hi Darlene. Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I'm sorry that there were some issues during the process of the garage construction. We have responded to the BBB complaint you had sent it. Last we had spoke was in question to the issue with the concrete, you did not want us to come and fix it. You were going to find another company to correct and pay them with the final amount owing for the garage. I know that you are unhappy and we would have no problem correcting the issue but you wanted to look after it. Also I would also like to stress that your garage looks great and is function perfectly. With the expect ion of the low spot on the sidewalk that leads to your garage. So please feel free to contact me at anytime. Sincerly Reg Eakins 403-616-8602.
