Royal Work Corp came to install a sump pump in my new basement cold room. After I caused a bit of confusion, they did a great job on the install and met my expectations. They even came back to slightly tweak the direction of the piping without any hesitation and were very friendly during the process. I would definitely recommend Royal Work Corp for any plumbing needs!

After having some inadequate raccoon damage "repaired" by another company back in January, I turned to Mr. Roof Repair to get the job done right. A full roof report was completed and additional work recommended (but not pressured to pursue). The repairs were done correctly and I haven't noticed any more raccoon damage since. I would recommend this company in a heart beat...I wish I hired them in the first place...

EDIT: Avenue Road Roofing contacted me to resolve this issue and I am happy they did. They took accountability for their work and have rectified the situation. Thanks to Avenue Road for their honesty during this process. Unlike other companies, they do seem to value their customers. I have seen other complete and new roofing systems that have been installed in the neighborhood and I would recommend them for this service. Back in January, Avenue Road Roofing came to my home to repair raccoon animal damage. The initial correspondence was excellent: the repairman showed up on time and swiftly repaired the damage...at least that's what I thought he did. In the next couple of days, the damage reappeared because of a pesky raccoon. The repairman once again came to inspect the roof and indicated that it is pointless to repair the roof until the raccoon is gone. Toronto is terrible for raccoons - do they ever actually leave? He said he would water seal the areas in question and follow-up in a week or 2 to see if more damage reappeared. After a few weeks of silence, I contacted another company to repair the damage, who indicated that the previous "repair" was essentially just jamming old shingles underneath existing ones like Jenga pieces. This was confirmed with pictures. This new company indicated that if a repair is done correctly, the raccoon shouldn't be able to cause anymore damage this year. I'm happy to say that I haven't had any damage since I hired a different company, and I've even spotted the raccoon on my roof since! I'm sure Avenue Road Roofing does great work installing new systems; however, I would not recommend for animal damage...3 months later and I'm technically still waiting for a follow-up.

After searching Homestars for an inspector that met my needs, I'm VERY glad I decided to call Alan. His responsiveness, professionalism, and attention to detail was extremely impressive. We are dealing with an interesting issue in rooms that flank a basement walkout and Alan provided a detailed report, including mold test results, that will surely serve us well in the future. Would I use Alan's services again? ABSOLUTELY. Would I recommend him to family and friends? Without a doubt. Thanks for all the help Alan.

Solutions Electrical came to my recently purchased home to inspect an aluminum wiring circuit that was noted in an inspection report. Not only did Joe remove the aluminum wiring to satisfy my insurance company, but he also fixed the wiring in a light fixture that was a complete mess and installed some fillers in the panel. I would not hesitate to hire Solutions Electrical again in the future...they clearly know their stuff and are class acts while doing the work!
