Arranged for replacement of smoke detectors - hard wired. Quoted 3 @ $ 160.00 including installation, Call Charge $ 80.00 - company estimate 90 minutes on site. Turned out replacement units had plugs that were compatible with originals - entire job 20 minutes did not even shut off breaker. Very Very expensive

Hi Chris, I am somewhat bewildered by your response. If I can just clarify a few things:
1-When we spoke you were given the price of $159 for each combination smoke/CO sensor which are a lot more costly than just smoke detectors. The $79 service fee was also mentioned and you agreed to all costs verbally over the phone.
2-We had 2 of our electricians at the location, one was in training. The GPS on our trucks indicated they were onsite for 53 minutes.
3-The existing smoke detector plugs were not compatible with the new ones & needed to be replaced.
4-I have compared prices with 2 similar professional residential electrical service companies, one was $179, the other was $165 each, for the same service.
I know you were not there during the call, but I feel you may not have gotten the complete information. We value you as a customer and I would be happy to discuss this with you further.Brian
