*Edit, this review was for an install in 2014. Sherwood Windows & Doors was doing an install on a friend's place when I happened to stop by. Spoke to Chad about the work we were considering, he explained some of the options right there and arranged to stop by our place to take a look right away. Very friendly and did a good job of providing the options from a couple different manufacturers. Got the same price but better windows than a competing quote from another company. Also gave us some good advice on a few things as we were prepping for new siding at the same time, which helped considerably. Very happy and would go with them again in a heartbeat.

Friendly, quick, efficient, good price. Tried getting quotes from a few different companies, Channel's pricing was very good. Another place in Edmonton was significantly higher and they had a wait of 3-4 months. With Channel we had a little trouble hooking up over the phone but kept at it and we arranged an install date of just a couple weeks later, which got delayed due to a sudden heavy snowfall the night before (after a week of clear sunny weather). Instead of arranging a date this time I just told them whenever they were available. They were able to come by about a week after that call, I wasn't there so my wife dealt with them on-site. I mention this because she often feels uncomfortable making the sole decisions on home repair\install matters as it's not her area of expertise, but they did an excellent job of presenting the options and explaining what they were doing so she did feel comfortable choosing the downspout locations and so forth. Also while they were there my neighbour popped by to see about getting a couple things fixed on his place, they had time at the end of my job and were able to take care of his repairs in quick order. I found out afterwards they had also done the work on a subcontract for my cousin's home, who was impressed with the service as well.
