After much research at various retail stores and online I decided to give Windows Blind Direct a call. After some communication w/Michael on project goals etc a home visit was arranged with minimal wait. Michael was very knowledgeable and agreeable to working within my budget. His expertise greatly assisted in the choice of blinds and material for the various rooms. The blinds were available in 3-4 weeks and the installers did a fantastic, speedy and clean job. They even rectified a minor blind flaw the same day by returning to the factory for a replacement part. I could not be more happy with the end result. I would recommend in a heart beat. So happy .and I saved considerable $$$ to boot. :)

I contracted Quality Exterior to install siding on my upper level fronting the street. I had previously used the company to install shingles a few years ago and their work quality was excellent both then and now. The siding was installed to cover up the builder grade wood work which was rotten in many places. The aluminum work was outstanding and board batten was an excellent choice for a small job. Kudos to both Rob and installer Claude. A job well done. The first comment was from my neighbour..."wow, best look on the street!". I would agree.

My extended family has used supreme windows for years and have been extremely satisfied. I contacted George to review my needs and we promptly arranged for a house visit and sizing. George patiently review with me the various window options ensuring I was happy with my selections. The windows arrived with a very minimal wait time and the installer team did a fabulous job. I love my new windows. The are much more energy efficient and the real surprise was how much quieter the house is now. My main window had a small flaw in the glass and this was promptly addressed and repaired by the window manufacturer.

The furnace was recycling the fire up cycle and blowing cold. I have used Abbey in the past for HVAC work and they were my go to team. Appointment was booked quickly and Helge was at my residence within 2 hours. Helge walked my through his diagnostic process which was thorough. Within the hour the furnance was back in business. The technician was personable and would recommend for future issues.

Another flawless job by Speers Flooring. The technician was diligent and efficient in his application of the tiles. No mess, no fuss. He returned a few days later to check on the job and do a final caulking to prevent cracking.

My tiles were looking a little "tired" due to the continual grout darkening due to dirt etc. I did a bit of research and hired grout expectations to clean and seal all tiling (bath, kitchen, hall). What a difference the coloured grout seal makes. All floors look like they new. Even the tile that I contemplated removing now looks like a winner now. I question why I didn't do this sooner. The cleaning of the tub grout was also surprising as it looks almost new. Excellent work. You can tell this is a family run business as they are very courteous and go about there business in a very professional manner. I would not hesitate hiring this firm.

I contacted about 10 different roofing companies and the quality of their proposals varied widely. During the initial sales visit Rob was one of the few that even bothered to go on the roof and have a look at the state of the roof and the job at hand. He was knowledgeable and very helpful in determining our final needs. I selected Herb Lodde based on my confidence that they would offer a quality, professional job at a competitive price. In the end three townhomes were shingled. Fred and team went about there business in a professional and safe manner. The worksite was left clean at the end of every day. All aspects of the job were finalized before the final invoice was issued. And of course...no leaks.

After some amount of research I settled on Affordable Insulation as my contract. I tend to gravitate to owner / operator companies and I was not disappointed with Affordable. Jason was a pleasure to deal with and clearly articulated the work effort and cost. Sid and the installation team were top notch and kept me abreast of their progress and allowed me frequent reviews of their work efforts during the day. It is clear that Sid knows insulation and installation techniques. A job well done! I have already made numerous referrals to work team members and family.

A family member had used Granite Kings in the past and they were my go to company when contemplating my renovation. Both Maria and Corina at the showroom were very helpful in granite selection, border and sink selection. Both the home measurement and installation were done by knowledgeable and pleasant team members. The actual process of removing the existing laminate counters was minimal in effort. The final results were amazing! My only question is why I waited so long to do this??

Scott is my go to guy for plumbing services. My extended family have been using his services for years. He is efficient and knowledgeable and is pleasant in his demeanor. I have the utmost trust in his ability to install or trouble shoot plumbing issues. Write down his number and keep it handy...you never know when you may need it.

After doing some research I decided on hiring Baydoun for the installation of my new appliances. Mark and his partner arrived on schedule and were efficient and knowledgeable as they went about their business. You could tell that they were well experienced in the installation of these appliances and took extra care to get things done right despite flaws in the kitchen cabinets. The were very pleasant and I would not hesitate recommending them to my closest friends and family. A job well done.
