My 20 year old roof has needed a shingle here and a shingle there. No more patching! I called Mike and he responded quickly. He came and reviewed the products available and spent the time to make sure the color was just right, and gave me an accurate quote on the spot. The day he aimed to start working was too hot, so he delayed one day. This is good, because I want my roof done right, safely, and by roofers who can be at their best. The next morning, they arrived and went full-speed, completing my roof in 12 hours. What impressed me the most was how clean and organized they were - they used tarps, a bin, magnets, etc. and when they were done, they left nothing behind. The finished product is something to be proud of. The color works great with my house and neighborhood. They new vents are definitely an upgrade (washroom fans work better). This sounds cheesy, but I think I have one of the best roofs on my block. This is the third project I've hire Mike for. He's replaced siding, and subcontracted out a rebuild for my front steps and driveway, and replaced a rotting window box. I call Mike for any of my exterior work, and for many good reasons: He communicates, and keeps things organized. He spends the time to make sure the right products and colors are chosen up front. He has connections, and can handle subcontractors. His pricing is competitive. He always delivers. Every time he assembles a team to work on my home, the work is done right and looks beautiful. Every $1.00 I give him, my property value goes up by at least $1.20 - he literally generates wealth for me (as property value), and makes me proud of my home. My only problem with him is, what with the pandemic, I can't shake his hand.

During a full interior renovation, Emmons Electric replaced lights throughout our home, and installed some pot lights in out kitchen. The quality of the work was immaculate. The pot lights were especially good, and brought the look of our kitchen up to a new level. Their work was quick, and they were quite consistent for cleaning up after themselves. Very knowledgeable, positive and a strong communication as well. There was a light fixture in the basement which lost connection during floor demolition, and Emmons Electric fixed the wiring without any hesitation. They stand by the their work and are dependable. I would recommend them to anyone who wants the job done well and worry-free.

Our house was in dire need of an update. We got quotes from multiple companies big and small and we decided to go with Right Choice Renos. They gutted and remodeled two full bathrooms, our kitchen, they redid the flooring throughout our home. They also fixed a banister and replaced baseboards. Right Choice Renos were excellent from the beginning. They were personable, knowledgeable and experienced. They were attentive and active listeners, and also offered very valuable input and suggestions. When they were working, they showed pride in their work and cleaned up after themselves every day. They treated our home like their own. Many little details were considered, and they went above and beyond in every room. Thanks to their ability to manage the various workers (plumber, flooring specialist, tilesetter, etc) we were able to step back and let them handle everything which made our lives easier. We originally planned to renovate in order to sell in a few years. With these results, we've instead decided to stay and enjoy our beautiful home for years to come.

After they helped with last year's siding replacement (see my previous review) I called Fyfe's again, this time to fix my window boxes. They were originally built such that they collected water and the wood was rotting. Mike's team gave a good quote, worked fast and their work had very effective results. AGAIN. They were friendly and helpful and showed personal investment in quality and follow-through. AGAIN. This is why I'll keep hiring these guys for my exterior contract work. Now, we also asked Mike if he knew anyone who could work on our front step and driveway. Well, he did - it seems that Mike is well connected with local contractors (see my other reviews for my driveway and front step). Mike arranged and coordinated ALL OF THIS, making sure the timing worked out, and that their pricing was fair, and that everyone had a vested interest in the final product. I'm very, very impressed.

These people were good communicators, they worked quickly, and the finished product is beautiful. The stone they use is excellent quality too, and they do precision custom work. I'm very happy with my new front step. They also cleaned up after themselves, and were friendly and considerate. I would recommend these guys to anyone. They believe in quality and it shows.

Before they started the actual work they gave an overview of what they were doing, as well as a time estimate (which they met). During the work time they were extremely positive and approachable. They were very efficient and really stood out in that they took their time to do a clean and precise job, leaving no mess behind. This is a rarity in my experience.

When poor workmanship and wind tore siding away from my house, Mike led his team to fix what other contractors wouldn't and couldn't fix. Some other contractors walked away, others would charge outlandish prices (4x) and give long delays (7 weeks). Mike showed extraordinary attention to detail, obsessing about the color to ensure it matched, looking at home to approach the job from every angle, going up with a ladder to inspect closely. He was very professional and personable. There was a delay in the shipping of the materials, and Mike continued to reassure me and always had an update when I called or emailed. He was understanding and grateful for my patience. It turns out that the biggest challenge was safety - nobody wanted to work in that awkward small space between two houses, over a 15'-20' drop. One worker admitted he couldn't do it safely, and so Mike called in his specialist, Keith, an experienced and resourceful veteran of exterior work. Keith designed and built a custom scaffold, and then used that scaffold to fix the siding - ALL IN ONE DAY. From what other contractors were telling me, this was impossible. But Mike's team did the impossible. They did it in half the estimated time, and with half the estimated workers, that anyone else was willing to even try. The workmanship is remarkable (the siding looks great) and is only outdone by the professional and friendly people, and the integrity of their leadership (Mike). You can tell that these people believe in what they do; it shows. I would recommend Fyfe's roofing to anyone.
