From the beginning our new home purchase with Pratt Homes has been fantastic. Not having a model home to walk through at first was a little bit scary, but Gemma in the design centre helped us with our choices from carpet, to cabinets, to paint. Gemma really helped us to visualize our home and what it will look like when it is finished. Out visit to the design centre was great. We never felt rushed and Gemma never once tried to push us in to upgrades. She would always give the option for basic selection and the upgrade. She was very honest with which upgrades are the best bang for our buck and which ones we could probably do without. This is so rare because often you find yourself being up sold on things that you don't know anything about. I also have to comment On the quality of the basic selection finished that Pratt Homes Barrie offers. We were expecting the basic selections to be lower quality, but were we ever wrong. The cabinets, counter tops, and tiles that we chose were a part of their basic selection and we wouldn't have had it any other way. Gemma has also been amazing with sending weekly updates on what is going on with our home. These emails always included inspiration for home decor which was really fun to get some cool ideas. About a month away from our closing date Gemma also sent us pictures from inside our unit to update us on how OUR home was coming along. We are blown away by Gemma and the Pratt team and their efforts to go above and beyond to make our experience great. We had no clue what we were getting into as first time home buyers, but the entire team has Been there the whole way to answer any questions whether it be by phone or email. The initial deposit that Pratt requires for the new home was very reasonable which was one of the main deciding factors to go with them. It was very low and we had 3 months to pay it making it perfect for our financial situation. We close in 20 days, and which I thought was going to be a very stressful and scary time is turning out to be very smooth and relaxing. This would not be possible without the great team at Pratt Homes in Barrie (especially Alex and Gemma who I have felt a times like I'm harassing by email). Thanks for everything guys!
