During a renovation on our 65 yr old home we had to remove a wall and subsequently an old wood floor. We wanted to keep the look of the original strip oak floor with border detail into the newly created space. Ron and his crew did an amazing job of adding new floor to match the old and refinish it to a beautiful warm lustre. It was a work of art done in less than a week.

Hi Geramy,

Thank you for your kind words and lovely review. Ron was glad to be back at your house doing additional work to your top nail strip floors. I am happy that the new and old floors match well, and glad to know that Acorn crews are still doing top-notch work.

Regards,

We had a quote for new replacement floors (not even wood) and then had a quote from Acorn to repair very old oak floor, repair bad squeaks, replace wood in damaged areas and refinish the existing wood. It was half the price of a new floor and looks fabulous. We have retained the look of the 1955 house including the striped edging that was popular in the day. The crew were on time and cleaned up with very little dust in the remainder of the house. Everyone I dealt with was professional and accomodating to our situation. I would highly recommend them if you want to keep your old wood floors.

Thanks for the review Geramy :) We love saving those classic old floors! I hope I can get some "after" pictures when I come to fix the little detail at the laundry. Yours is a great example of the type of work we do. Cheers, Ron.

It took 2weeks for an estimator to attend but after that it went on time and quickly. Pat took care of all the details and the crew of Nate and Sam did a fantastic job of an on site build. Good lower bid too.
