DeMac Design Build were extremely helpful in trying to assist with keeping our basement renovation within our budget while at the same time ensuring high quality service. The basement turned out beautifully - we needed the extra space with our expanding family. The basement is warm, dry and one of our favourite places to be in our home. It has also added to the equity of our home - an added feature for re-sale purposes.

- Be prepared to live with all your basement contents stored in other areas of your home until the project is completed - ask DeMac for their estimation on the completion of the project, keeping in mind that if you add other services along the way, it lengthens the time needed to complete everything. Be patient and the end result will be amazing!

This was a challenging project but we all recognized that from the beginning. Leah and her family were so easy to work with. This was a major project including removing a supporting wall in the basement and replacing it with a 22 foot I beam. We decided at the time to remove the entire basement floor and replace all the old clay wast pipes with new, then we poured a new concrete floor. It was clear sailing from that point on to finish up the rest of the project. Once again it was a pleasure working with this family and I am very pleased they are happy!
