I've been dealing with Gasfix since I first moved into this home 9 years ago and they have always been professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Usually deal with Scott or Dwayne. This time Scott came out because our gas fireplace had an old mercury switch that finally died which means among other things, the pilot light wouldn't stay lit. A few years ago I would have needed to replace the entire fireplace but during a regular service call a year or so ago Dwayne told me there was an upgrade kit now available. Scott came out and installed the new kit and the fireplace is working again just in time for the cold months. Thanks as always Scott !

We had been trying to get the company that had installed our new roof 4 years ago to come and replace a roof vent that had been damaged, likely by a raccoon but after repeated calls it just seemed complicated and so I checked on Homestars and found Roofs on Homes who were well rated so gave them a call. They were extremely polite and definitely wanted to help us. Chuck called us within a few weeks as we knew they were busy with much larger jobs and came over. He dealt with my wife and was extremely polite, professional and knowledgeable. He replaced the damaged vent but also noticed an incorrect vent had been installed for the bathroom and offered to change that one at the same time if we wanted which we had him do. At the same time I asked if he could check all other vents which he did. He performed an inspection of the roof, all other vents including the two ridge vents, checked the eaves and hammered in loose nails. Really put our mind at ease as we head into the winter. While we may not have used them original for our roof, we'll be using them for anything and everything on the roof going forward.

From the initial meeting for an estimate to the job being performed and finished, this family run business with Jason and Sid were fabulous. Even when they had to announce a delay due to equipment issues, they handled this challenge with flying colors. Jason called to reschedule and offered a price cut for the inconvenience. WOW ! For me, when a small company steps up in a time of crisis like this and impresses me, that really speaks for how much they love what they do and respect their customers. Had wasps in the fireplace exhaust vent. After getting rid of them, called on Scott from Gasfix to swing by to make sure there was nothing in the exhaust pipe and to check the fireplace out. I have had Scott and other members of his tem come out before and they are all extremely knowledgeable and professional.

I contacted Pesticon and talked to Waheed after we realized we had mice in the drop ceiling of the basement shortly after we moved into our home. He came over within 24 hours and was professional and courteous. About 4 weeks later when we still heard some "movement" I called him back and once again he came over and after describing where I was hearing noise he determined another area where he had to place his poison bait. He said within 3-4 days it would be over..and he was RIGHT! Certainly looks like our mice problem has been solved. Great service and great guy !!
