I had purchased an older home and there was insufficient insulation in the attic. The house got hot in the summer after the sun went down and the air conditioner ran continuously some nights. I researched insulation companies to do an attic insulation top-up and chose Ideal Insulation. They have a long history in the industry and I was not disappointed. Greg came over and surveyed the attic and noticed that our kitchen fan exhaust ducting seemed to have a gap to the roof which his crew could fix by caulking it. They would include this as part of the work that they were doing. When the crew arrived they noticed that there was a more serious issue and I should have the ducting repaired. I appreciated Ideal's professionalism in noting problems outside of just the insulation work that they were doing and had the ducting looked at. The attic insulation was topped up after I had the ducting repaired and we have noticed that it no longer gets as hot in the house. The attic insulation top up was definitely worth the investment and I enjoyed working with Ideal Insulation & Roofing on this project.
