We hired Forever Stone Design to reconstruct the front entrance to our home. This included building a natural stone lower landing surrounded by a knee wall anchored by pillars. The build also included natural stone steps; the cladding of our existing concrete porch with flagstone, and a stone paver border around our driveway. When I first met Mimmo to discuss our project, I was quite impressed with his 40 years of building experience and sage advice. As we discussed the details of the project including the foundation requirements, I quickly recognized that I was dealing with a master stonemason who was passionate about his work. With little deliberation, we hired Mimmo and with the work now completed, we are more than satisfied with the results. Our front entrance looks amazing! Mimmo and his hard working, friendly crew were consistently on sight every day working long hours to complete the job on time. Mimmo’s attention to detail and workmanship made for a worry free experience. Throughout the build process, he made a number of suggested changes to our design that ultimately enhanced the look and value of our home. We were so impressed with his workmanship that we asked him to do additional work for us in rebuilding a stone fire pit in our backyard. Like his work to our front entrance, the round fire pit he built is a work of art. While the great Michelangelo of the High Renaissance died in 1564, I believe his spirt and passion live on through people like Mimmo. Adding stonework to your property is a big investment so it is important to hire the right contractor. Master stonemasons like Mimmo who are passionate about their work are very rare to find. We recently hired Augusta to move us from our large family home of 25 years to a temporary rental until we find a new permanent home. Our moving team was very professional and respectful of our home and careful with our belongings. Despite moving in inclement weather conditions (freezing rain) our movers took appropriate safety precautions and moved our entire home and delivered its contents safely and securely to our rental home in one day as planned, and within the quoted cost. I had our infinity edge water feature restored by Leo Marbelite in July 2015. This involved significant preparation work of the existing surfaces and application of a beautiful River Rock Pebble finish. I was very impressed with Michael's professionalism throughout the project and extremely pleased with the outstanding work of his team. I particularly appreciated their attention to detail and leaving the job site in spotless condition. If you expect quality workmanship and want value for your money, I highly recommend this company.
