Our AC died on us a week ago. A technician from a highly rated Htg/AC company w/c I saw in this site came in Sat, 08-29 to diagnose the issue. He claims our circuit board was broken & needs to be replaced. But since our unit is 12 yrs old, he highly recommends that we replaced the entire unit for $3000. Called CoreTemp around 5:30 PM Aug 31; told him I want a 2nd opinion, talked to Richard & shared w/ him diagnosis from another company. He was angered by what he heard, as he had heard several stories like mine w/ the same company - w/in 30 mins he was at my house, w/in the first 10-15 mins, looking/checking the unit, he found 2 burnt wires & quickly fixed it. our AC is working again. Richard is heaven sent!!!! I will definitely recommend CoreTemp to my neighbors & will give them all my AC/Heating business from hereon. You Rock, Richard!!!!!
