Jay was terrible with communication. He ripped us off at the end. Promised to pay for plumbers that he hired. Plumbers have now come to us with a bill. Jay refuses to pay. He left garbage for us to dump and didn't do a final walk threw. He asked for final payment before work was complete. After we paid him his final payment we got a bill in the mail from plumbers with a contract that we didn't sign. The plumbers say he owes them 10 thousand dollars. He won't pay and is hiding from us and them. He picked up cheques via mailbox. He did things without consulting me then was upset when I wanted them changed. He should not be in bussiness.! Not a happy customer.

This job was done on budget ahead of time and cleaned up the bill has been paid and the bbb has asked this client to remove as it's false but she had not

Our office has received an email this morning from That Guy Contracting regarding complaint 1028261

Although, the business is not accepting responsibility for the invoice for the range hood install, as an act of good faith they have sent a cheque to Platinum Plumbing & Heating for the amount of $840.00, for invoice 1154. The business has asked that in light of this all bad reviews be removed from social media, such as TrustedPros, Homestars etc. If you do not feel this is something you want to do, the business has indicated they may seek legal action as the issue has been resolved. The Better Business Bureau now considers this complaint resolved.
