We called SOS to service our Dacor wall oven which they assured us they could service. The service technician was at our house for over 30 minutes and spent most of his time on the phone not talking about our situation. It was obvious he had no idea what was wrong with the oven but he decided it was most likely the control board (note on invoice says figure out beside main control board) he was to order the part and get back to us. He never got back to us and after following up with him a few times we demanded our money back from the service call as it was obvious he was not going to do anything. We then called the head office in Calgary after not hearing back from him yet again and were advised that our request for a refund had been denied and the part was not available none of which was ever communicated to us. We finally called another company who came in and diagnosed and fixed the problem. I would not recommend SOS appliance to any friends or family and am in fact considering a complaint to the better business bureau.
