So disillusioned by Daniel and Goodboy Landscaping. In the summer of 2016 they did $25,000.00 worth of work for me The warranty was for 3 years so it expired on June 21, 2019. On July 7, 2019 I contacted Daniel to indicate my entire front landing was falling apart and sent him pictures. It was the job depicted with the red SUV in the lane way on his facebook page. Dan responded to the pictures with "WHOA" and that the warranty had expired (only by 2 weeks on a job from 3 years prior). Nevertheless he promised to come by (in three separate text exchanges) towards the end of July to fix it. On September 30th he was still a no show so I contacted him again. On October 1st he promised to come by on "Tues or Wed next week", i.e., October 8th or 9th. He didn't show. On October 19, I again texted him as follows: "Hello Dan. You've been promising to come ...for months...can you give me a firm date please?". On October 27th I had received no response. Out of complete frustration, I told him if he did not get the hazardous walkway fixed I would write bad reviews on-line. The exchange that followed was not pretty, and again he indicated the warranty had expired. True to my word, I am writing this review. If anyone knows a reputable landscaper, I would appreciate a referral. Thanks, Barb

Like others, I was extremely happy with the service provided by Restoration 1. The General Manager, Grant, answered the phone on the first ring on a Saturday and arranged to come out immediately to assess and remedy the damage from a flood in my basement. The crew of 4 arrived and within 4 hours had ripped out carpets and drywall that had been contaminated by the flood. They continued with all the remedial work that was required in the circumstances. The flood was caused by the negligence of my contractor who was performing renovations. Grant produced a report and offered to deal directly with the Insurer and the contractor for payment. He is extremely knowledgeable about insurance policies and claims, the benefits of which should not be underestimated. Considering the inevitable anxiety that comes with experiencing major water damage in your home, Grant, from the moment he arrived, appeased my fears and instilled great confidence in his work and expertise.
