Repeat customer of Moda and could not be happier. This project was from Spring 2021. Daniel did everything from design to execution. Results speak for themselves. Top tier finish, very clean along the way (kept all neighbours happy) all at a reasonable price. Thanks Moda. Will have phase 2 next spring. Highly recommended.

Daniel & team at Moda Landscaping did a top-notch job on the replacement of our townhouse steps (also did a small fence) They were very clean, polite, safe and efficient. Not an easy job due to some complexities, but they made it happen and the finishing product looks amazing (lots of complements already). Highly recommend. I was traveling for work and we had a toilet leak. They came promptly, cut a hole in dry wall, provided $10 hose (charged $100 for the hose) then left. 15 min visit, $350 charge. Same toilet leaking a week later, add 2 seals and charge $400, 10 min visit.... then said my wife should replace toilet Completely took advantage and price gouged my wife. Service was good, but price was ridiculous. Better off using jiffy app going forward! cant believe this

I had been looking to replace all the ~20 yr old wood windows in my house for the last 3 years or so. I got quotes from a short list of 5 companies (researched all these companies for about a year). After speaking with dozens of people in the industry, visiting them at the home show, visiting their showroom 3 times, Eurostar was on the only company that I was 100% confident could deliver on all the specs I was looking for (sounds reduction, thermal qualities, structural, etc). The Eurostar team worked with me (back and forward x50) on all aspects of design to logistics of installation (tilt & turn windows are 20x more difficult to install that Cdn windows; their main installer Melik has the best workmanship I have ever seen in the industry). They supported me through this entire project (it was very complex; they could have easily told me to take a hike) and the outcome was nothing less than breath taking. Not the cheapest (don’t cheap out on windows and doors!), but the value I got was much better than the $50k I spent. Thanks Igor, Eli and Melik. Unbelievable workmanship quality and detail in ALL parts of the project. These windows will last for 100 years. Save yourself the time and just call them.

After speaking with a number of suppliers and getting quotes, Alex at Entry Doors came to the top of the pile (fair price, great track record and all they do is doors). He drove out to our place on an early Saturday morning and brought with him a large number of samples and we had a good discussion of what we were looking for in our new door. Final product: Custom 8' tall, 2.25" thick, mastergrain contemporary door, heavy duty multi point lock system, triple pain shaded transom.

I was looking for drapes for my townhouse (12 ft high and 9ft high, needed a custom solution) and stumbled upon Crazy Joe's. After I spoke with Charlie, I was pretty much sold. We first set our budget then backed into the material and hardware that worked. Needless to say, the end result is amazing. My wife and I are happy with the end result (pretty much completes the rooms) and Charlie @ Crazy Joe made it happen within our budget and at a very high level of service. Would recommend! Keen to expand our living space as we moved into the family formation phase of life, my wife and I bought a nice townhouse in downtown Toronto. While we knew it was on a busy street, I didn't know that it would impact me as much as it did after the first few minutes of moving in (I actually thought we bought a lemon and would lose all of the equity we had in our place when we have to sell, which I wanted to a few weeks after moving in). After researching all the sound proofing options in the world, I stumbled across Encore's bqueit windows and subsequently got in touch with Dave R. He took many of hours over the course of a few weeks to chat via phone and email and then eventually visit to discuss options to reduce noise within our house. I can not say enough good things about Dave; not only is his technical knowledge at an expert level, he is a genuinely great guy and wants the best for his clients over the long term. We ordered two bquiet windows and one bquiet storm door for an upper level patio. Installation was efficient and clean. The end result: I now sleep like a baby. These windows work great and eliminate all sharp noise (not all noise), but have restored the peace I was looking for. They are expensive, but they are an investment in both reduced heat loss and peace and quiet. Next phase will be some new sound proof picture windows and will look to get a few more windows done with the bquiet solution. Thanks Dave & team

After reading the review on Homestars, I contacted Yuri to see about doing some work on my townhouse. He came over and took a look and recommended a few things (all exterior work) but we both came to the conclusion that all the doors and windows needed to be re-caulked and a few vents replaced ASAP. His guys came over recently and did the caulking (a few windows were 30+ ft high) and did a great job. They gave really good feedback on what areas I should focus on next including 1) aluminum siding on the bay windows where wood was getting soft 2) replacing or capping a few windows 3) adding a down spout to one area in the roof. All in all, Yuri and his team were professional, nice and did good work. Price was very competitive and they used commercial grade product (came by to ask me what colour he wanted to use when discussing the quote). Not sure what project I will tackle next, but I'll be sure to get Yuri's opinion and quote when the time comes.

I bought a townhouse that was 'inspected' by Glen at Lighthouse. First of all, their presentation is in hand writing and kind of messy - was hard to follow. Aside from missing some issues, it seems like the job was rushed and lacks a good summary with actual recommendations. I would not recommend these 'check list' type guys, and would have a preference for somebody that actually takes the time to write a summary to a prospective buyer. After pointing out some obvious issues that needed upgrading, they missed a host of very important issues including - missing covers on junction boxes but no notes given - sever mildew in washing machine gasket (this is a $250+ replacement) - some light switches didn't even work (no notes given) - external exhaust vests missing (not notes given)... one of which has caused some corrosion in the furnace... (cost ???) - electrical came from overhead wires (not underground... error) - did not test convection oven (connected to oven)... it does not even work... (this is a $2k+ replacement...thanks) - dishwasher wasn't even mounted (no notes given) - 'windows appropriate for age'... 4/13 windows need replacement asap due to failure and the others are rotting - this is a 15 year old place.

My mother bought me and my wife a king sized bed for Christmas at the Whitby homesense. The store recommend Pete's for delivery to our townhouse in downtown Toronto. My mom initially spoke with Pete and he was very friendly. I sent him a few text messages and then he was here within a few hours. Not only was he friendly and delivered the bed scratch free, but he also helped me get it up to the 3rd floor of our townhouse with narrow stairs. Price was very fair for how big this bed was and for the distance. Would defiantly recommend for people in the gta that need help moving stuff around at a value price point. Thanks Pete!

Just finished moving out of my condo and into a townhouse (Dec 7, 2015). It's 2pm and the job is done.
