We have an older house with older junction boxes which aren't the most compatible with newer fixtures. Needed a flush fixture as well as a pendant installed. TopRated Electric responded within 5 minutes of my service request and was able to get to my home within a few hours. The lights were installed in under an hour. Dmitri was very patient in ensuring we got the pendant at just the right height. He was courteous and explained things efficiently and concisely. I would definitely hire Dmitri again.

I went to Danforth Carpet Connection to have a rug I purchased from IKEA cut down to size for a room in my home. Service was extremely quick, friendly and knowledgeable. The binding matched in colour to the existing binding. Worked perfectly to create a custom size without breaking the bank!

Noah and team were excellent to work with. I hired Loyal Tree to trim the dead branches from my Crimson King Norway Maple. Noah is friendly and easy to speak with. The gentlemen who came to trim the tree answered all my questions and handled the tree with the greatest of respect. While I hope no more branches die, I would absolutely work with Loyal Tree again.

Plumbers are good, courteous and knowledgeable. We have a drain in our basement which was overflowing with sewage. They scoped another drain on the other side of the basement and determined that we had a faulty connection between PVC and clay pipes. We were instructed that it would cost $+/-8600 to rip up the slab and fix. They did not assess the drain that was overflowing as the pipe was too small to look through. We were told to stop using all of the plumbing immediately to get the clay pipes replaced. We would have incurred significant hotel costs as we would have had to move out. --- We had another plumber come in as the drain once again overflowed. This plumber scoped through the toilet (next to the overflowing drain) and discovered a tree root had penetrated the clay pipe and that was causing the clog. He freed the clog to allow temporary use of the plumbing and scoped the drain down to the street to ensure there were no other issues. Pricing and timing was relatively the same for the solution. --- So - all in all - New Canadian Drain & Plumbing has knowledgeable plumbers. I feel the pricing was fair and reasonable for the amount of work that needed to be done. I do wish they assessed the other drain to at least give us temporary use of the facilities.

Erki is extremely patient and easy to work with. He worked with me to find the right sheen for the wainscotting I had painted. He took time to properly prep the room and came back to do touch ups after the paint had dried and the lighting was a bit better to see. I would absolutely recommend him for all your project needs big or small.

Working with Garry and his extremely talented crew was a pleasure. Garry was always very responsive and professional to the many questions I asked. He took time to walk me through material selections and the quote. The crew were friendly and very easy to chat with about the variety of decisions that needed to be made. It was great to have experts to bounce ideas off. They took considerable care to patch and caulk the space making it ready for painting. Photo shows the trim wainscoting and top trim as well as the workmanship around a corner. Painting will be the next step.

We hired Advanced to investigate some potential issues (leaky shower/kitec plumbing). From coordinating with the Office Administrator Chris to meeting the plumber, our experience has been extremely positive. Andrei showed up on time, thoroughly investigated the areas of concern and explained our options in a clear and concise way. The quote was reasonable for the amount of work we needed done. We will look to work with Advanced plumbing as part of a larger renovation and we will certainly recommend this company to others.

We hired Michael to prepare a home inspection for our new home. Michael was prompt, efficient and personable. He very calmly and clearly explained his findings and even took some time to explain some of the inner workings of the home. Michael was able to point out areas of concern and give us confidence in what we need to move forward with to ensure our home remains in it's best form. I would highly recommend hiring Michael.

I feel very fortunate to have worked with this company. Kirill was always very responsive to the many questions I sent him over the course of a few months. He is easy to work with and was very receptive to the ideas I had. I could not be happier with the final design. Every last inch of space has been utilized in the small closets I have. The foyer closet was fairly easy, shoe storage, coat storage and additional shelf storage. Kirill was able to let me know the architectural limitations for my grandiose ideas. He also took note of the storage boxes I use and ensured that all the upper shelves could accommodate them perfectly. The bedroom closet was a bit trickier as I knew what I wanted and gave Kirill the challenge of working out a solution with the products at his disposal. The final outcome is better than I even imagined. The hardware and finish of the final product was high end and well finished. I supplied my own drawer hardware which Kirill was more than happy to install for me! Also of note: the installers were very polite and handled my space with the greatest of respect and care. I am very happy with the level of service I was given by these gentlemen! I have already referred Closet Solution to two colleagues and I look forward to working with them in the future!

I hired Ralph to demolish my existing laminate floors and install new engineered hardwood floors throughout my condo. Right from the get go Ralph knew what needed to be done to correct some of the issues caused by the old floors and clearly communicated it. His team was prompt, quick, honest and meticulous. I have already recommended Focus on Flooring to other designers and I will continue to use Ralph for any other client work that may come my way in the future.

I had the pleasure of working with MaxSpace for a client’s kitchen renovation – as well as my own kitchen renovation. Both projects were completed beautifully. The dimensions were a bit off for my kitchen (due to a wonky wall that was beyond anyone’s control) and MaxSpace had a new piece cut and delivered within a few short hours. I was extremely impressed with the level of professionalism and craftsmanship. The installers are very polite and friendly

Brian is an excellent electrician. I hired him after my client’s contractor brought him in to replace an electrical panel in his condo. He is passionate about lighting and takes everything into consideration when making recommendations. He is an excellent problem solver and can easily adapt to odd site conditions. Brian will also take the time to explain things to you in a way that you can easily understand. He is extremely hard working and I will definitely hire him again for future client and personal projects.
