We needed to update our living room and front hall. We had the living room, dining room and front hall painted. In addition, we purchased new furniture for our living room and had a bench cushion re-upholstered in our hall. Our designer, Claire MacRiner, is a warm-hearted, creative and kind individual and she made the process fun and easy. She asked us a lot of questions about our tastes, listened to our ideas and brought back a vision that ensured the design was something that we would love and was well within our budget. Claire brought a tremendous amount of creativity and suggested ideas, layouts and colours that we hadn't thought of or, imagined before, that reflected us. We are thrilled with the final product and look forward to working with Claire on other projects.

I have used Polanski Moving Systems several times in the last 12 months in order to move my eldery mother into a retirement home, in addition to using the company to move furniture in our home prior to and after a kitchen renovation. The Home Improvement People alleviate any fear and anxiety about embarking on a major renovation. Charlotte, our designer, provided wonderful advice for the selection of flooring, cabinets, counters, fixtures, hardware and lighting. Caio, our contractor, ensured the timely coordination of all the trades that were involved. Everyone with whom we dealt were professional, courteous, kind and demonstrated skilled workmanship and pride in their work. The most comforting aspect of working with the wonderful staff of this company is that they stay in constant communication with their clients. It was imperative the kitchen door be replaced prior to our renovation. The installation occurred three weeks prior to the start of the reno. Many thanks to Phil, our salesman, who also, was able to ensure that our front entry door and side garage door were installed by Christmas 2015. Alex, the installer, is terrific.
