We hired Kurmak Builders in 2010 and were so thrilled with the quality of their work that we called Frank again this past September to replace all the windows in our home. In meeting with Frank to go over his proposal, we informed him that we would potentially be moving to Red Deer and felt replacing the windows would increase our selling price. We were completely ready to sign the agreement to move forward with Frank, but then he actually talked us out of it! Frank suggested we talk to a realtor first because new windows may not add any value to our home - he recommended Amie Hautz of Century 21 Bamber Realty. After speaking with Amie, she confirmed Frank’s initial comments and suggested we use our investment amount on our new home, instead of needlessly spending it on windows for current home. Both Frank and Amie could have easily taken advantage of our position, each in their own way – but instead they operated with great integrity, which we think is the most important thing you can look for when choosing a general contractor. With all that's gone on in the home construction industry, it's hard to know who to trust and we are so thankful we went to Kurmak first.
