Garage Insulation, Walls, and Clean Up
Since I'm a senior, the first time I heard the name "Guns N Hoses" I admittedly imagined a pistol-packing gang, but since they were referred by a company I highly respected, I decided to give them a try. After all, the other company would never have recommended them if they weren't good. My first call was with regard to a leaking bathroom fan that dripped for 15 years when the weather was icy cold. It never dripped any other time -- only when the weather was below 15 degrees Centigrade. I had already spent well over a thousand dollars on repairs from other companies over the years, to no avail. Each time I listened to Shell Busey on the radio it seemed people were calling in with the same problem for which there never seemed to be any "one solution solves all" answer. Well, Guns N Hoses finally solved it on the first call. By then the ceilings in 2 bathrooms were both distorted and discoloured. No longer do I have to endure water torture on my neck on a freezing cold day as I go about my business. Since they did such a good job, I called again some months later regarding garage insulation that was starting to fall out of the garage. There were no walls to cover it and the poly wasn't installed properly either. Like many seniors, things were starting to accumulate and I could see that I was losing control. Dozens of things were starting to pile up (which were actually pieces of junk of the sort our parents taught us to save after they survived the last world war). Those who took their advice usually ended up with what looked like war devastation in itself, and many ended up hoarding. Although I didn't mention the mess, Neil certainly noticed it but politely didn't comment. Instead, he offered to not just insulate my garage but also to clean up the entire place, and gave me a quote on the whole deal. Believe me, it was no small feat! The junk was up to the ceiling on both sides of the car. It was bitterly cold on arrival yet the Guns N Hoses Company worked non stop. It took more than 2 days to not just insulate the place and put up walls, and a closed insulated ceiling, but also to clean up. Not only that, but they also installed shelves they suggested that either I buy, or they would pick up for me. They even hauled all that junk away! In fact, they went so much above their call of duty that I was speechless, and to boot the price was reasonable as well. Plain and simply, this company can't be beat. They're not just professional, but also very personable and caring. I can't rate them high enough so if you ever need help with your insulation, roofing, siding, fascia, eavestroughs, be sure to try them. Who knows, you might get lucky and they may help you with things like this too. This is the best company I ever dealt with (and yes, I hired dozens over the years).

Thanks for your comments MaryB. Sure sounds like Neil and his team went above and beyond once again, we love getting the feedback. We hear about this problem quite frequently, and it is a fairly easy fix if you know what you are doing. We appreciate you taking the time to comment.
