2/10

We had Mr. Plumber come and fix our toilet 1 year and 6 days ago. They completed a "minor tank rebuild" including a new fill line, supply line, and trip lever. They also provided a 1 year warranty on parts and labor for the repair provided. At the time of the repair, we were happy with how quickly they came and took care of the problem. HOWEVER, 1 year and SIX DAYS later, our toilet lever is broken AGAIN, and they are refusing to honor the warranty because it expired 6 days ago. After paying nearly $400 to have our toilet repaired, I expected the parts to last longer than 1 year. I will not be using this plumber in the future nor will I be recommending them to any of my fellow homeowners.

Approximate cost of services:
$375.00

Company Response

Hi Stephanie. As you describe in your review, we are unable to fix your toilet free of charge after the warranty has expired. Similarly, we can not exchange the parts with the manufacturer for free after the warranty has expired. We would be happy to come and fix your toilet for you but as the warranty has expired, we need to be compensated for the work as it is not free for us either. Sorry you did not have the extremely positive experience that our other clients have shown here. Regards, Vlad
