The time had finally come to replace our furnace and air conditioner. We got quotes from 6 different companies. Our best experience by far was with Fred (Farhad) from Cozy World. He took the time to understand our needs and gave us a few different quotes with different price points. He was so honest, and he even went as far as recommending we might be able to get a few more years out of our air conditioner. This type of honesty is very hard to find. We also had concerns about compatibility with our current 1-stage thermostat (which is connected to our home security), and he confidently guaranteed that it would work with the new equipment (the others would not make such a guarantee). Leslie (office staff) was very accommodating in scheduling the installation (we had a lot of days where we were not going to be home and/or had people visiting). On the day of the installation, the team (Saeed & Reza) arrived exactly on time. They did a fantastic job, and patiently answered all my questions throughout the day. I get nervous when it comes to home maintenance, and their great attitude put me totally at ease. They respected my home as if it was their own, and they treated me like family. After the job was finished, they reverted my basement back to its original form it looked as if they were never even there! After testing the equipment, Saeed gave me some helpful recommendations, and showed me how to change the humidifier and air filters. The price was exactly as quoted with no surprises. Its been a week since the installation, and everything is working perfectly. Going forward, I will be calling Cozy World every few years for maintenance. From start to finish, it was an absolute pleasure dealing with the Cozy World team. I highly recommend them for any HVAC needs.

We had used GTA windows many years ago to replace our front window, and were extremely happy with the service and product. Now it was time to replace the rest of our windows. Igor came to our house to educate us and assist us with what types of windows would work best for us. He did not try to oversell; in fact, he talked us out of some more fancy styles, because he thought they were a waste of money. He took measurements the same night, and gave us an estimate. We were so pleased that we completed the sale that evening (and cancelled the other appointments). Eugene came out a few days later to take the same measurements (they believe in "measure twice, cut once"). The windows were ready a few weeks later, and Eugene came out with an assistant, and completed all the work in less than 3 days. He even fixed our front door (it would take a lot of force to close it, and now it swings shut by itself!). Very courteous, very clean, and a pleasure to deal with. I look forward to the next time we do business.

With just one visit, Philip from PMT Home Services has turned me into a lifetime customer. I called PMT one morning, and explained to Philip that our eavestroughs were overflowing during moderate to heavy rain. Philip made an appointment and even gave me a reminder call the night before the appointment. Philip and his crew showed up on time, and were extremely courteous and professional. They quickly found and repaired the problem. After a quick examination, they said the troughs were in very good shape, and recommended installing brackets around the entire house to secure the troughs to the fascia, which would buy me another 10-15 years. Other companies were only interested in replacing the entire system, at 5 times the cost. I will definitely use PMT Home Services in the future for regular cleaning and maintenance, and highly recommend them to anyone with eavestrough issues.

We noticed water leaking out of our dishwasher one night. I called Pambis Appliance the next day from work. Pete had repaired our fridge a few months ago, and I knew the quality service I would be getting from him with the dishwasher. We made an appointment for later in the week. Pete called me on the morning of the appointment to let me know that he was on the way. Despite bad traffic, he actually showed up a little early. I tried to demonstrate the leak, but of course the dishwasherWe worked perfectly when he was here. He took off the front plate and told me to use the dishwwasher over the next few days, and also told me the different places to look for the leak. Sure enough, the leak came back in a few days. I took a picture and emailed it to Pete. He showed up the next day with the correct part, and made the repair. Similar to the first time we met, Pete exceeded all expectations. Like most people, I hate when things around the house break, but as far as appliances go, I know exactly who to call.

We came home one night to a fridge that was no longer cooling. I emailed Pambis Appliance late that evening, and got a response from Pete the next morning saying he could drop by around 9:00 - 9:30. He arrived at 9:10 and immediately diagnosed the problem as being a faulty switch. That particular part was no longer manufactured so Pete had to track down a generic kit that he could use as a replacement. He managed to locate one very quickly. Unfortunately I had to get to work, and Pete was flexible enough to pick up the part that afternoon and come back after I got home from work later that day in order to complete the repair. As an added bonus he fixed the front rollers and adjusted them so that the fridge doors would swing shut on their own. He even replaced a broken handle bracket with a new one that I had purchased a few years ago but had never got around to replacing. Overall I do not know how things could have worked out any better. Within 2 minutes of meeting Pete I felt like I had known him for years. I would absolutely recommend Pambis Appliance for any type of appliance repair, and I will definitely be calling on them for future repairs.

We noticed a leak coming in our basement from the furnace vent area. I contacted Mr. Roof Repair using the online booking tool. I selected option 3 (emergency). After a couple of quick email exchanges, I was on the telephone with Michael, who explained the repair process in detail. We booked an appointment with JP (the repair specialist) for the following day. JP showed up on time, and immediately diagnosed the problem (improper installation of the flashing around the furnace vent). He also noticed that some of the other vents were beginning to leak. He took pictures, explained in detail the required repairs, and very patiently answered all of my questions. In the short term, he did a temporary repair job to stop the leaking. The following week, JP returned to do the permanent repair (tear out and replace the rotting wood, and tear out and reinstall all vents properly). Again, he took pictures, explained everything, and patiently answered my questions. JP was a pleasure to work with. After both repairs, we received the pictures and a detailed report. A few days after the permanent repair, I had some follow-up questions so I emailed Michael, and within the hour, he responded with very detailed answers. Their responsiveness was great. My experience with Mr. Roof Repair exceeded all expectations. Both Michael and JP were professional, efficient, prompt, friendly, and made me feel completely at ease every step of the way. I would recommend them for any roof repair.
