We recently had our kitchen and powder room renovation completed by Monarch Kitchen and Bath. Our first meeting with Monarch was with Kevin, who came by the house to thoroughly reviewed the space and spent much time with us to discuss our vision for the powder room and kitchen renovation. Kevin completed 2 design plan options and took the time to go over each of the plans with us. We visited their extensive showroom to make choices for flooring, cabinets, counter-tops, backsplash, and hardware. Kevin was very friendly, patient, and helpful throughout this process and we never felt rushed. He consistently kept us updated on costs in order to ensure we stayed within our budget. For the most part, the work was completed as outlined on the schedule provided. We were always informed of any change in schedule. Everyone, including the plumbers and electricians, as well as the cabinet, flooring, counter-top, and tile installers were all very professional and addressed any questions and concerns we had in a timely manner. We are extremely happy with our beautiful new kitchen and powder room. Thank you to Kevin, Neil, and each and every member of the Monarch crew for all of your hard work and expertise. We would not hesitate to recommend Monarch to anyone looking to renovate their home.

We recently contacted Captain Electric after researching electricians on Homestar. We wanted to update several of our light switches throughout the home. We sent a request on a Saturday through their website and they contacted us on Monday morning. We were hoping to get the same day service as advertised on their website, but were informed they were extremely busy that week and the next available appointment wasn’t until that Friday between 8-10am. We were called by 8:15 am to confirm the electrician would be here by 9:00 am. Kevin and Cody were very professional and friendly. We discussed what was to be completed and they went through the pricing and gave us a quote before the work was started. They changed 13 light switches within two hours and confirmed all was in working order before payment was made. Overall, we are very impressed with Captain Electric. We also appreciated the advice from Dave on our initial call on Saturday to discuss our concerns. We would highly recommend Captain Electric.

We recently hired 5 Star Painting to paint out newly renovated kitchen, powder room, living room, and upstairs and downstairs hallways. We made an appointment for a consultation on their website and was contacted by Mike the following day. He was very friendly, professional, and thorough when he came by to discuss what we would like to have done and to review the cost. The work began when expected and was completed in the allotted time as discussed. The painters were very courteous and professional. All areas were well prepped, and they continually maintained a clean work area for the full two and a half days it took to complete the job. Al in particular did a great job, and we greatly appreciate his attention to detail and the additional prep work that was needed on our ceiling. Overall, we are very, very pleased with the work done by 5 Star Painting. We will definitely hire them again and recommend them highly.
