I am a Realtor and not only have I referred my clients to AllMax, but they're my personal first choice when it comes to home inspection services. They are probably one of the most professional inspection services which I have come across, if not the best. I remembered the first time I've met Alan (head inspector) - my original inspector cancelled out on one of clients' appointment and I had to find someone quick so I looked up Homestars.com hoping to find someone good and reliable - he showed up at the appointment 15 minutes ahead of time (I was early too) so I was already slightly impressed: Inspectors are almost never on time, least talk about being early. My first impression seeing him was like, "...he looked a bit young, would he be knowledgeable enough for the job?..." But 30 minutes into the inspection not only I was surprised by how much he knows, I was also surprised by how willingly was he to share these knowledge with his clients. He was also the first home inspector that I have met who actually climbed up onto the roof to inspect it's condition - the others simply looked at it from the ground level with a pair of binoculars. He spent ample time to explain all the details during the inspection, and he also provided a very detailed report (with actual photos and diagrams) of the inspection itself the same evening. Overall, AllMax will always be my number one company and I would definitely recommend their service to anyone.

Either the stars are not aligning for me within the cosmos or some other weird reason (house getting old maybe?), this is the second emergency work that my house has cost me within a few weeks. Yet it was a great experience, despite my parting ways with some hard earned cash. After the most recent bout of foul weather (high wind gusts and rain), I've noticed several pieces of fallen roof shingles on and around my driveway. Upon further visual inspection from ground level, I've discovered that the problem originated from my roof. I have quickly decided to use Homestars.com to find someone to fix my roof, since I've had very good experience when my plumbing was causing me problems last time. Soon I've narrowed it down to 3 companies which provide service in my area, but Mr.RoofRepair was the first one to respond with a real person instead of just an answering machine. Gerard was very personable and knowledgeable on the phone, and he patiently went through a lot of necessary information with me before booking an appointment for the next morning. The team that showed up for the actual work was very professional, courteous, prompt, and extremely efficient. They arrived on time exactly as promised, greeted me properly and have kept a great smile the whole time during our brief conversations. After the work was done, the roofer explained to me what, why and how things were done to effect the repair. The whole entire experience didn't last more than an hour, and they've even picked up every piece of damaged shingles (even little bits) that fell onto the street during the previous night before they left. They were so quick with their work that I didn't even have enough time to find out their names! Mr.RoofRepair, I would certainly consider recommending your service to everyone.

There was a slow but mysterious water leak through the ceiling of my kitchen and after consulting friends and one professional plumber, no one seemed to have a feasible solution to figure out where the water was coming from. Out of desperation - the leak has grown from one dripping pinhole to dripping pinholes from several spots plus one slowly growing brown stain - I called Public Plumbing for an emergency evaluation and repair. Vlad, the most personable plumber whom I ever have the pleasure to meet, came knocking on my doors within hours of my call. Several minutes of his arrival, he has already worked out a plan and have started to search for the leak, unlike the other "professionals" who had simply talked about the "possibilities" of the cause of the leak. After cutting a couple of holes in the kitchen ceiling, Vlad was able to isolate and locate the exact spot of the leak: a nail that was used to reinforce the ceiling/floor joist during the construction of my home 8 years ago has gone through a wooden block and struck one of the water pipes that was supplying cold water to my 2nd floor main bathroom just enough to not leak at the time. After all these years it has finally rusted the tip of the nail and begun the slow dripping leak. I'm not exaggerating but Vlad has already speculated this possibility before he'd started his search and I truly believe that shows knowledge and experience. And at the end, the bill was surprisingly small considering the quality and professionalism they have shown. All-in-all, I was quite impressed by Vlad and Public Plumbing's service quality (before, during and after) and am pleased to recommend their service to my friends and family members.
