We needed to replace the gutters on our home, as they were 35+ years old and were starting to leak. We decided to include fascia and soffits as well to cover up the older wood and match the color we chose for the gutters. Chinook Exteriors, of all the quotes we got, had the most detailed quote, including the base unit costs of all materials (by length, or quantity depending on the piece). They also had a competitive price. The detailed quote is ultimately what swayed me to them, as the details allowed for a much better understanding of the cost breakdown versus some very basic quotes we got from elsewhere. They were able to start a few days early (after getting our ok first) as the planned start date had a poor weather forecast that would have likely created a delay. The job itself was completed in a timely manner, and the work progressed a steady pace. The guys worked hard the entire time there were on site. Furthermore, they were always friendly and professional, discussed anything that came up as a concern while offering effective solutions, and cleaned up well after each day ended. So far, the overall quality and workmanship is excellent. They used screws, not nails, and did a great job fitting everything together. All the lines, corners, and joints are very clean. The first night after they finished, we were hit with a pretty good windstorm, and everything held up nicely. The final cost of the project was exactly what they quoted. I highly recommend this company, and will use them again for any future exterior work that may come along.
