My original request posted to HomeStars was to get an estimate for wall sconces to be installed in my bedroom. Within minutes, Shane wrote back to me. He answered all of my questions very professionally and within a short time, he was here giving me some options to work with that respected my budget and time constraints. At the moment, I'm still deciding on whether to proceed with that particular work, but not going ahead with it right now is not because of the proposals Shane laid out. There are other factors on my end. In any case, I had other electrical issues with my unit. Mainly, the under cabinet lighting had not been working which was caused by water damages from the homebuilder, which required the kitchen to be completely gutted and re-done. Unfortunately, I must have not paid careful attention during my walk-through with the disaster restoration company after repairs were completed because the under cabinet lighting had not been working for the last couple of years when I had the condo rented out to tenants. Since moving in, I haven't been able to enjoy cooking because it's hard to see with barely any lighting (this place has poor lighting too). Shane came over and diagnosed the problem quickly and professionally, all with a good dose of humor. To put it diplomatically, the layout and design decision of my unit is super "interesting" (i.e. wiring where wiring shouldn't go; tight place with so much wasted space; lopsided kitchen island; among other things). I've had so many issues with this condo so far. And as I was chatting with Shane, he didn't charge me for the work. It's competent people with compassionate hearts, like Shane, that make these unprecedented times seem not so bad at all.  I would not hesitate to recommend Hyperion Electrical Industries Inc. to anyone for any of their needs, regardless of electrical work. I can proudly say that this is another company that I'll be adding to my arsenal of experts that I can depend on. Thank you for resolving my problem Shane and thank you for the laughs! Premisces saves the day! I was doing laundry last night and noticed lint spitting onto the ground of my laundry closet. I squeezed into the closet and to my dismay, I found that the exhaust duct had come undone. In fact, it was not properly installed by the homebuilder. No clamps were used to tighten it to the back of the dryer, so of course, all of that lint and hot air was blowing out everywhere in the closet. Stressed about a potential fire hazard, I posted to HomeStars. Premisces was one of the first to contact me this morning. I don’t know what it was but I was drawn to how quick he responded to my post and by how polite and professional he was. I decided to go with him and by afternoon he showed up and was in and out in 30 minutes. He was super quick, very helpful and brought the necessary tools to fix my problem! Premisces straightened my heavy stacked washer and dryer to my liking. He even went the extra mile and returned the second time this evening because I stupidly asked him to move the washer and dryer to one side of the closet where it ended up being impossible to slide the soap compartment out. Oh, and he even straightened my fridge that had been poorly placed in my home... Altogether, I would not hesitate to go with and/or recommend Friendly Handyman to anyone looking for a handy man. They really do put the “friendly” in top-notch service and pricing!

From the moment I contacted TF Moving & Delivery, Abdul was very responsive to all my questions. During a stressful period in my life (divorce) and a pandemic to boot (COVID19 couldn’t stall my move even though I was hoping it would), Abdul’s calm and reassuring nature made it easy and a no-brainer for me to proceed with their company after I bombarded him with a bunch of questions to no end. Marc B was dispatched to my place to fix a leaky toilet. Unfortunately the issue wouldn't replicate while he was here, so he explained to me that because the toilet wasn't in use often, the rubber gasket probably dried up and lost its seal. The fix? Just make sure that the toilet is flushed once a week so that the rubber gasket remains expanded and doesn't dry up. Anyway, problem aborted and thank goodness I didn't have to spend extra $ on repairs. Thank you Marc B for your friendly, prompt, and professional service! Also, thank you Tara for promptly scheduling me in. :-)
