Miracle Marble did an outstanding job with my quartz countertop and backsplash. Superb customer service from Natalie and Tatyana, starting from choosing the slab, scheduling measurement and installation appointments and answering numerous questions along the way. Everyone I interfaced with were very professional and skilled. The measurements were precise, done with laser tools. Installers were on time, quick, neat and did a great job. Most importantly the end result is amazing! Could not be happier with it! Highly recommend Miracle Marble to anyone.

I hired Salvatore from Decorem Tile and Stone to replace floor tile in my kitchen and hallway. The sales rep (John) from Sarana Tile store in Vaughan recommended him as a great professional who specialized in the type of tile we were purchasing from the store. This turned out to be the most **horrible** experience in my entire kitchen reno project in every possible aspect. I don’t even know where to start, so I’ll just list what I can: - The entire tile installation was delayed 5 days, impacting other trades which we had to reschedule - The reason for delay was – apparently the dry pack foundation layer was not dry enough after standing for 4 days, which happened to be the hottest days of August. So the contractor left it standing for another 2 days - Then instead of completing laying the tile in 2 days, as he originally promised, he took 5 days to cover an area of less than a 500sqft - The contractor was very hard to deal with, very opinionated and not listening to what he is asked - We agreed on a 50/50 payment schedule, with 50% up front and the rest at the end of the project. He started asking for payments mid-way, while not progressing in work. He knew we were pushed on time, as our kitchen installation date was coming up. So it felt like blackmailing, threatening to not complete the work at all and jeopardize the entire project unless he got paid - The contractor ruined our security system wiring, just ripped the wires off the doorway - Cut a hole in entry door casing, which we had to have carpenter fix afterwards - Worst of all the craftsmanship of the work was very poor. Unleveled floor, huge gaps around door casings, inconsistent level of the seam line with the hardwood, etc. See the pictures of some of it. I suspect the sales rep from Sarana Tile (John) has some kind of deal with the contractor, which is why he recommends him. Very poor customer service on Sarana Tile side!

We did a kitchen reno and needed to repaint some walls on the first floor as well as paint all the doors. We hired Urban Palette to complete the project after reading the reviews on HomeStars. The job was done on time and the crew was friendly. The price was reasonable, but with some unexpected additions at the end. However, on the quality side I was disappointed. - Although the walls were painted well, the job on the doors was not as good. I have french doors with glass inserts and the paint work around the glass was very sloppy. The glass was not taped and protected at all, lines are not straight and glass was stained with paint. We were also charged extra for 3rd coat on the doors, although I highly doubt it was necessary and if it was done, they were not covering the entire door surface for the 3rd time, but perhaps some small areas. - Overall quite a bit of stains were left on the hardwood floor as well, I had to scrape off after they left. - None of the hardware or electric plates were removed, as was listed on the agreement. We removed most of it ourselves, they did not remove any remaining ones and just painted around those. Overall, I know there are much worse contractors out there and the experience with Urban Palette was pleasant overall. But I was not lucky with the craftsmanship of the particular team working at my project.

I highly recommend Paul, Mark and their teams! They are very professional, knowledgeable, efficient, dedicated and trustworthy crew! I have had an issue with my furnace, which was overheating and shutting off. Three different HVAC specialists could not resolve the issue (one of them in fact recommended replacing the entire furnace, which is fairly new). As a last resort, after doing some self research online, I was looking for a reputable company to clean the furnace blower and AC coil, thinking that could be the root cause of my problem. I have hired Paul from the Duct Cleaning Specialists, after seeing the high rating on Homestars. Paul and his crew came, and I have explained my situation to them. Paul checked my furnace and quickly confirmed that the blower and coil are fine and don't require cleaning. Instead of stopping at that, he took the time to test out the furnace, carefully examined it, took apart some condensation pipes and cleaned the debris, he also noticed a loose connection on one of the sensors and fixed that too. After that, miraculously the furnace started working and has been working perfectly since! Something so small, after hundreds of dollars wasted on THREE so-called "HVAC specialists" which could not find the problem or simply didn't bother to look! Not only that Paul saved me money on the unnecessary blower and coil cleaning, he also actually fixed my furnace! As Paul was looking at the furnace, some other team-mate was cleaning the drier vent and Mark and team were doing the duct cleaning and also did a great job! Very efficient and organized team! It really feels like a breath of fresh air - finding such good contractors, which know what they are doing, having genuine respect for their clients and acting in the best-interest of their clients!
