I found mold in a finished part of my basement 2 weeks ago. I found the Mold Guys based on their score here on Home Stars. I spoke to Kay, she was awesome and very understanding. My family is currently doing a very tight lock down due to Covid, and the Mold Guys crew are the only people who have been in our house since March. The diagnosis was that we needed to remove the ceiling, wall and floor of the impacted room at a minimum. The next day a crew was here with a dumpster. The crew was also very accommodating of our heightened concerns due to having people in our home. They sealed off the area of the house and took a lot of care in alleviating my concerns. They removed the moldy material, sanitized and cleaned the area. Found the source of the water, which caused the mold, and provided photos of the progress of the job. I highly recommend the Mold Guys.

Working with Petar from Mallion was one of the best contractor experiences I've had. From the time I submitted my request on HomeStars, Petar called me within 15 minutes to arrange a visit to give a quote. He gave a thorough description of how he planned on upgrading our eavestroughs and provided options in our quote. After committing to do the work with Mallion, Petar continued to be very active in communicating the schedule and any changes that were required due to weather. The first day that they came to do the work, he realized that the colour of aluminum he had was SLIGHTLY different from that of our soffits. He is very focused on ensuring the work is done correct the first time, and would not install the mis-matched colours, even though they were incredibly close. At every step his communication was fantastic and he was very clear about ensuring the work was done to his standards of quality. To do the entire property, the job needed to be done over two days, at the end of the first day there was a risk of some rain in the forecast, and Petar came back late at night to ensure that there was zero possibility of water getting near our foundation. His dedication to doing what he felt was right was fantastic. I would absolutely recommend Mallion to anyone who needs aluminum work done.
