My sister recommended this company, with a special request for Jeff O. We called them, Becky is very amiable on reception. We were lucky to get Jeff. He is very friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, reliable, clean. He was able to answer all questions that we had. We had called him for an old toilet problem and a dysfunctional kitchen faucet. Both items had to be replaced. He had a catalogue with him and with his expertise and ideas we were able to choose the replacement fixtures. He called his shop and he replaced both items that day. While he worked, we asked numerous questions. He takes the time to explain. Their work and products are guaranteed. We needed a service call, and he was able to come that very day, with a smile, ready to work. We found the prices competitive. We definitely recommend Instant Plumbing, and ask for Jeff. Great plumber and down-home guy. Money well spent.

Window Coverings: Purchase and installation of plantation shutters for the living room, dining area, den, master bedroom and patio doors. Dan from Budget Blinds was excellent in helping us choose the product, with special consideration that we were purchasing the best product for our budget and needs and he presented option times for delivery, we were never pressured. Dan was helpful in choosing the color to match our decor. We purchased composite shutters and just love the product. The shutters are sturdy (not flimsy), create a relaxing atmosphere, have clean lines, and raise the overall ambiance of our home to a higher echelon. They are easy to maintain. Slanting the louvers is done by finger lifting the louvers, with no metal control on the back and no rod going up the front of the shutter. Our windows are fairly big so the shutters are designed so that each panel has 2 separate sets of louvers that can be maneuvered individually for privacy or whatever. The shutters for the patio doors are "bypass" doors, which are mounted on a decorative top valance (track within) that is a perfect match for our existing millwork - beautiful and they function perfectly. Dan and his installer were punctual - exactly as scheduled and promised, which we appreciate. There was no mess and they took care that there was no carelessness bringing in the shutters and removing the old blinds. We definitely recommend Budget Blinds of West Calgary, Dan and his crew. And, of course, we love the product and they arrived and were installed within about 3 weeks, we didn't have to wait weeks and weeks. We love Budget Blinds and Dan is great!
