I bought a house with a newly installed roof by TML. I was provided the receipts and guarantee. Shortly after moving in, a skylight started leaking. I had a few roofers by to give me quotes and when they were both around $1,000 I decided to call TML to use the 'service' guarantee. The roofers advised that it was 'installed incorrectly' and cited things like: the stink pipe is done all wrong, the skylights are not properly installed, etc. Because I'm no expert and I don't know if I"m being taken for a ride or not, I started calling TML to come and fix in JULY. It's now FEBRUARY and I still have an extremely leaky skylight. In September I started keeping a very detailed log of my communication attempts and it's nearly embarrassing (for me). There is ALWAYS an excuse (sick, up north, other jobs); he promises "Saturday morning, I'll come out" and Saturday comes and goes without as much as a phone call or other. I will be paying out of pocket to fix my issue as I am absolutely 100% certain that he will not be by; the last 12 attempts to contact him have not even elicited a response. I am more than nervous that when I get a real roofer that it's going to be a lot more than just this skylight. The service guarantee is actually not worth the paper on which it's written. Honestly, just stay away. Not worth it, one iota.

I had a great experience. I got two movers who were very friendly and helpful. Most of my stuff was already packed but in addition to moving they were very willing to help me disassemble some larger pieces (bed, etc). I was moving in a winter snowstorm and they were very careful to be quick and minimized any snow impact! Only (minor) downfall is that I got upsold at the beginning on the hours required to move. Bought too many, and only needed two hours ...

I'm sure everything in real-estate is last minute but my inspection needs certainly were as well - I needed the inspection & report within about a day. John was excellent. He was everything professional but he was also great walking a novice like myself through the inspection. He was very thorough, taking about 3.5 hours and was more than pleased to answer many of my silly questions ... After leaving me about 7:30p, John emailed me 1/2 of the report that night around midnight and followed up with the final report when I woke in the AM. Having the pictures, descriptions and summary was invaluable information as I negotiated with the sellers on my house ... Thanks!
