During this summer's heatwave, we (along with everyone else, seemingly) opted to finally get air conditioning. We called around for some quotes from highly rated companies. Lendrix had the most reasonable pricing for the two units we needed (regardless of the trim level we chose) and was able to get to us more quickly than most others. When they had a cancellation, they moved us up even further on their schedule. The installation was quick and professional. The operating tutorial wa easy to grasp. My follow up questions about elements of the system were answered right away. And today they dropped off the winter covers for the units (which were backordered during the summer) without me having to chase them down or followup. A really good experience and can happily recommend to others.

Dave and his team transformed our backyard, ripping out an old, small deck and replacing it with a spacious, Techobloc paving stone patio. That work also included re-sodding part of our backyard and rejigging our in-ground sprinkler system. In addition, Chinook built a flower bed in our front yard, edged with mowing pavers, and rebuilt part of our fence around some other work we were getting done. We're extremely happy with all the finished products and the estimates were very accurate. We have already received a number of compliments on the new patio as the area is so much more conducive to hosting outside now. Beyond that, from my first meeting/estimate with Dave, I had nothing but positive interactions with the Chinook team. This was an extra busy year for the outdoor trades but Dave was upfront about the scheduling and kept me informed on projected timing as we moved through the summer. (He also didn't blow off my initial meeting without so much as a phone call when he got really busy, unlike another one of the very highly-reviewed contractors on this site.) They were also able to source the materials we wanted even though our job was late in the summer and there were shortages due to COVID supply/demand imbalances. The guys who showed up to do the work were friendly, meticulous and professional. They were very good about answering my many questions and responsive to any of my concerns. Just a really pleasant group of people to be around and my kids watched them work from the windows for hours on end. Thank you to James, Tanner, Bo/Beau and the other gentlemen for all your hard work and attention to detail. I'll go with Chinook again for future landscaping projects.

Jamie repaired the damage in two areas from a water leak, which included patching a large hole that was cut-out to stop the leak, and re-taping and painting our water-stained, flat ceilings. I was particularly pleased with his colour match on the front hallway. If he had done less of a good job, I would have had to have him paint the rest of the main floor due to it basically being one big room... Thankfully for us, his match was spot on and he blended the two paints pretty much perfectly. Jamie was efficient, tidy and he communicated well - telling me at the beginning how many visits we'd require and always sending texts when he was on his way. He was also flexible, coming back early one evening when our personal plans didn't work for the original timing. He's a nice as his reviews make him out to be. A really cheerful, positive guy that my wife and I enjoyed having around. The work was great and he's an easy call for any future indoor painting or drywalling needs. Thanks, Jamie and Pam. Kevin

This is the second time I've had Austin out to fix a plumbing issue. Once again - timely, courteous, diligent, professional. Fixed an issue I was worried could've been reasonably serious in about an hour and was able to provide some other observations for related plumbing issues and options in the same space. If every trade could offer this level of service, home maintenance would be so much easier. I strongly recommend Austin and won't hesitate to call and ask for him next time. Thank you.
