Sandro Del Fabro and his company Delfabulous Home Improvements Inc. was recommended to us by our Benjamin Moore designer. We were installing hardwood floors, putting in new baseboard and door casings and painting the interior of our 1800 sq. ft. 1957 rancher. A major issue emerged: when we lifted up the carpet to install the hardwood we discovered a serious plumbing problem that had leaked into the studs and drywall. We discovered this on the Friday of a long weekend and were really stuck as to what to do. Sandro volunteered to come over on very short notice and openly advised us that we needed proper plumbing work (versus taking shortcuts) and he was a calming influence during this very stressful time. Subsequently he did an excellent job repairing the drywall and installing the trim and we are very pleased with his work. He worked extremely hard and flexibly to meet our tough schedule, was very easy to work with and was highly responsive and professional. Sandro pays strict attention to the details, delivers to a very high standard quality and his costs were quite reasonable given the calibre of his work. There are plenty of 'fly-by-nighters' in the home reno business so be sure to check your references! I highly recommend Delfabulous and look forward to working with Sandro again in the future.
