Larry is the real deal. Hired him and his crew to redesign and rebuild my old deck, which was poorly constructed and in terrible shape. He did not disappoint. From initial phone call through to post-job follow-up text messages, Larry was warm, sincere and extremely informative. As a sole proprietor, it's clear he takes a great deal of pride in his work. It's also obvious that he is personally invested in his projects. He was up front and transparent about costs and proposed a number of ideas that allowed us to save money on materials. Before even laying down the first board, Larry started by overhauling the poorly built deck frame and foundation, making it square and level, reinforcing every single support beam. He made sure everything was super solid before proceeding. His estimate for quantity of materials required was spot on. And his design ideas increased our deck space significantly while using the same underlying framing footprint. He even took on the challenge of rebuilding two new sets of stairs, perfectly level of course. My family and I have spent more time outside than inside since the deck was completed. Throughout the entire process, Larry was quick to share his knowledge and expertise - something I really appreciated. Made me realize how much of a gem this guy is. They really don't make them like him anymore. Larry does excellent work, offers tremendous value and is a genuinely nice human being. I will definitely call on him again to help improve our home.
